Hey
NorCalMommy, welcome back, many of us can relate to regaining the weight we worked so hard to lose, no shame it happens. For me, it was 10 years ago I went from about 321 down to 261 and eventually up to 350. I realized some important reasons behind my regain at that time in my life were -
1. I was losing weight for looks 1st and my health a distant 2nd (read the above paragraph and you'll see how well that turned out
).
2. I overexercised & underate, so when I slowed down, the weight came back quicker than the time it took to lose it.
3. I didn't really understand nutrition back then (I'm not an expert now, but I am definitely far more interested in it now than I was back then, getting enough calories, carbs, fiber, protein, omega 3's, etc. to be healthy and efficient on this journey).
I wish you the absolute best on your weight loss journey! Besides this site, I am also partial to Instagram for inspirational quotes, pictures, and ideas.
