Thanks for starting this thread. It's a good idea. I've been posting my "at-home" stuff in the gym thread.

I'm a big at-homer too. Have a tread mill that I use on most days. Also weights, vids, bands, steps...blah. Don't like using them all much anymore. I do go out to ride my bike when it isn't too hot though. I really like bike riding and got a bike awhile back that carries a lot of weight. Sweat on!

Thank you so much Liliann for starting this thread! Up until the past month or so I was losing weight just with counting calories, but my weight loss was moving so slowly and I knew I would have to either exercise or cut my calories drastically to get the scale to move again...so exercise it is! lol I bought the Leslie Sansone: Walk Away the Pounds Ultimate Collection 2009
(copy/pasted from Amazon, sells for less than $9 usually) there are 4 workouts, each increasing in distance and intensity and I stick to the 1st segment which is the 1 mile walk and I love it! The scale had finally started to move without me having to mess with my calories or general food intake too much (I eat around 100 calories less a day than I did when I was stalled in my weight loss), so it is working for me...The one thing is that I had a binge 6 days ago on the 16th, and for the most part I've worked out since then and stayed on track (no more than 200 calories over) and I gained a pound recently *boo*. I know it isn't that significant, but I'm hoping it disappears and takes some friends with it lol by Sunday which is my weigh in day for my current weight loss challenge.

Anyhow I plan to work out tonight, if I don't I'll mention it in the post, thanks for reading everyone! <3

So true Liliann! Tootsieroll81 I was wondering how long did it take you to progress from one video/workout to the other? I've been doing the 1 mile, I love it, but now I think my body wants more of a challenge. I do break a sweat & I have a hard time with the weighted ball arm raises when combined with the leg lifts but the rest of the workout is almost a breeze for me. I think it might be time for the 2 mile for me...

ETA - I didn't work out tonight (4/23), but I will tomorrow.

Candid, It didn't take long at all. I went from 1 mile to 3 miles in the course of 3 months. I'm not using weights though. I'm using the Walk At Home as my cardio workout. I did find a workout of hers that uses resistence bands, but I can't do that right now because I'm still healing from an appendectomy. I'm probably ready to progress to 4 miles, but I'm taking it easy. I tried to do too much right after the surgery, so I hurt myself a little bit.

Thank you for the reply Tootsieroll81, tonight instead of my usual 1 mile walk, I did the 2 mile, but only up to 1 mile lol, I plan on pushing myself harder tomorrow, and over the coming days. I broke a nice sweat though just doing 1 mile of the 2 mile walk.
