I am in a better place mentally today. I am paying for eating so much spinach dip.
My goal for today is NO soft drinks. Water water water!!!
Going to make good choices today and limit sodium.

I have a new grand baby coming in march. All my others live out of town and we just keep them from time to time. Well #6 will live in our town and I will help keep it while mommy works. Mommy is a bouncer and walker. So it's time for this Grammie to get in shape!! My energy is at an all time low and I'm sick of it.
When my first grand baby arrived ( 6yrs ago in oct.)I was 30 lbs lighter than I am today. Time to stop beating myself up for gaining and get off the weight. I have 30 wks.

Ready for day 2!! Carbs will be limited and no dessert at church!! Also going to eat only half my roll. Limiting carbs!!

Sounds like you're doing great Deb. It always feels good to know you're trying!
I envy you getting on the scale daily. That would throw me into a tizzy! Once a week, at WW, is all I can live with.

I was almost POP yesterday. Had one slip and had to use some extra points.

Mornin' Ladies,

I had another POP day yesterday. Tracked every bite and had points left over, even after popcorn last night.

So far today I've vacuumed our communal hallway. One of my neighbors leaves for work around 5:30 AM and she must have taken her trash out as she left. There was a hole in the bag and she'd left a trail of kitty litter down the hall. She's a clean freak so I know that if she'd noticed she would have come back and cleaned it up.

I also made a quick run to the store - out of lettuce (horrors)! I really looked at the bakery sugar cookies that were highlighted right at the front door but I made myself wait 'til I picked up the lettuce. By then I was able to convince myself to get fresh pineapple instead of the cookies. That was a BIG WIN for me. Those cookies smelled sooo good. I think I heard them shouting "Nooooo! Don't go without us!" as I walked out of the door.

Hope your plans for the long weekend are to at least hold on and not gain.

Remember to take time to do something just for you today!

Hi all. Debbie and Judy, it's good to see the two of you feeling on track. Welcome, Obsidian.

I've been off track and sick, again. Also we had the first week of school, which kept me very, very busy. I so wish I could get really and truly organized so that things like the first week of classes didn't throw me off so much.

A friend was listening to my symptoms and asked if it was fibromyalgia, which I've never known much about. Read up on the symptoms and wow, does that sound like me. Not sure what to do with that info. My doc hasn't mentioned it, and you know how they are about self-diagnosis. Plus, it sounds like there isn't much they do for it; pain meds and anti-depressants, neither of which I'm really interested in. The rest is lifestyle and alternative medicine.

Anyway, in some ways it's a relief to think maybe I'm not insane. And to have some idea that maybe exercise might help me prevent symptoms.

So, I'll hope that next week will be better than this week was.
