UBEE - you are so funny lol ... I will admit when my PT told me to touch the floor with my fingers I looked at her funny and asked is that with knees bent too?? Apparently its something that is the done thing ... can I just say after getting told for years to "bend your knees" when heading to the ground for something it sorta flys in the face of opinion for what is good for you dont you think?? So I dont do that one too often lol

Okee .. so not as big a whoosh as I would have hoped .. BUT .. its gotten rid of last weeks add on and taken a few more friends with it too so Im thankful ... might have been a little more if I didn't have dinner at 1020 last night lol .. but as I hadn't had a chance to eat anything since breakfast my hunny wouldn't let me through the kitchen without the soup he had cooked up for me .. with a piece of bread ... admittedly I was so tired it was hard to say no anyway and I slept like a log lol. Woke up with my throat feeling better .. my nose is still alternating between running and blocking .. definitely prefer the former cos the latter gives me a headache lol. Just chilling at Starbucks having a coffee (which apparently helps a workout!!) then will head to work to open it before I head to the gym. Not sure how well I will do today but will do my best .. wondering if a sauna is a good idea lol ..

Oh and baking .. yeah .. I should know not to experiment when I am not feeling 100% ... the first one was a disaster .. my Apple/Banana/Sultana cake with a Streusel topping worked out ok .. I think .. will know tonight when we have a little piece for dessert lol .. but its a bit moist and falls apart so I have a bit more work to do on that one ... also to bring into work I made some simple Chocolate/Coconut cupcakes to give away .. along with my Choc Fudge Brownie .. which I played with a bit (again why do I get experimental when my brain is fuzzy is beyond me lol) .. so will see what the customers think of the new version .. its got a mix of chocolates (white, milk & 70% dark) plus Sultanas/Choc Chips/Chopped Peanuts in it. Right .. time for my coffee then to work .. I will catch up properly with everyone later .. and EASILY .. whoot whoot to you too

Easily I am about 6 inches away from touching the floor with straight knees. My problem is I always take it easy! 110 YIKES! It is going to get in the 80's today and that is too hot for me!

Mandy... Hey -1.2 lbs is Wonderful! you are still going in the down down direction and that is what counts.. You are getting soooooo close to that magic "2" number!

Ubee.. I know what you mean.. I can't touch the floor either unless I squat LOL My back is NOT limber.. but the nice thing is.. finally its not my belly that is in the way (as much). I think sitting on the floor with your legs stretched out.. try and touch your toes.. that will stretch out your (me too) back

NIGHTKATT! Nice woosh... I know that last week was not good..but still.. NICE WOOSH that Fairy is flying around this world.. I likey!! and I hope you feel better and think straight when you bake ! LOL

Easily.. oh.. how much today? I made it down to 216.2.. thoooooooooo I ws 215 flat after my walk.. I sooooooooo want to catch you.. Keep running! LOL

Happy Saturday all (Sunday to you Nightkatt) and Enjoy Life and LAUGH!

Hi everyone. Hope you had a great 4th to those who celebrate it. No big loss on the scale for me this week, but I am not too surprised. I have a feeling I'm retaining water due to it being the week before TOM (I think - we'll see) and from increased exercise. That being said, I am having success at the gym. Since it was closed on Friday for the holiday, I did 15 extra minutes 2 days during the week to make up for it. My HR isn't going near as high as it did when I first started (I consider that a success) and I'm not as sore afterwards. Hopefully I will be able to bump it up to 45 mins more often, depending how busy the gym is when I get there.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Way to go Stephanie! Nice job planning ahead to make up for the missed day. Do they limit your time on the treadmill if it is busy?
Sue I just decided I want to make it one of my goals to be more limber. Love your attitude! Thanks!

Hey guys!

The only reason I said the loss wasn't so great this week is because I do a mid-week weigh in on Tuesday, and between Tuesday and Friday it was only a 0.2 loss. I'm hoping to see better on the coming Tuesday. I'm assuming it was a lot of water involved in my weigh in, though, because I've had some sodium-heavy days. Today is the last one though! So hopefully I can chug some water down and get rid of that sodium bloat.

Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend!

Katt are you OK?
Sue WTG Amazing!!!

Someone found this on Facebook and posted it in an old thread. I think it is worth repeating.

Hello, do you know me? If you don't you should. I'm a pound of fat, and I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm Only One Pound, just a pound. Everyone ...wants to lose three pounds, five pounds or fifteen pounds, but never only one, so I just stick around and happily keep you fat. Then I add to myself ever so slyly so that you never seem to notice it, that is until I've grown to ten, twenty or even more pounds in weight. Yes, it's fun being Only One Pound of fat, left to do as I please. So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying "Oh, I only lost one pound." ( as if that were such a terrible thing!) For you see, if you do this you'll encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm not worth losing. And I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you. Happy Days!! After all, I'm Only One Pound of fat!!!

Hi everyone!! Sorry I have been missing .. have had a hard time getting my computer to connect with 3FC the last few days.

MANDY - Lovely loss this week … and having just read that last post from UBEE its a great one … remember its not just anything when its a loss lol.

EASILY - Wow those temps are just too hot for me .. now Im trying to remember what our temps are in your world lol … I think over here we have been having a mild winter .. only a couple of frosts so far … and I think the lowest we have gone is about 10 during the day .. that is Centigrade btw lol … and our high is about 17C … sounds low but really its been a nice mild winter .. other than the wind which can be very cold and takes 3-5 degrees down lower. So we are pretty cruisy about the weather lol ..

WANNA - Thanks .. Im ok about the loss .. because of the percentages Im happier than if I just had that whoosh lol .. and speaking of whooshes .. WOW .. you do like those high numbers Great loss this week

STEPHANIE - A loss is a loss. And I know what you mean about the HR .. doesn’t it make you feel great?? I was doing Level 3 on the Weighloss program and was hitting the 130s … then it was the low 120s .. then I went up to level 4 .. same thing … so now Im doing Level 5 and my HR is just touching the 140s so it will be a little work lol ..

UBEE - I absolutely LOVE that post you passed on .. and how true is that?!! Going to borrow it for my weight loss page on FB too lol .. might help a couple of friends out who are feeling a little down about their losses.

Soooooo .. how was everyones INDEPENDENCE weekend?? Did we spoil ourselves?? Have some quality family and friends time?? I dont celebrate it in NZ .. but I know others that do and Im sure they were scoping the internet to see fireworks going off cos we dont do that here either (until Nov 5th anyway lol)

I worked all weekend (as usual) but I did mightily indulge So was worried about getting on the scales on Monday … so I didn’t lol .. but I got on this morning and have gone up a smidge … but it was like 0.1 pound so Im not going to stress and will just behave the rest of the week lol.

Yesterday I went to the gym before work .. got there at 7am!! Did 20 minutes at Level 5 on the treadmill .. then TWO rounds of circuit training before my reward of a 20 minute sauna It really helps clear the sinus’s and makes me feel great … so going to do that again tomorrow. Today Im working again so won’t be gym time but will make it Mon Wed & Fri I think this week so Im doing my 3 minimum … and if each one is a 50 minute workout then that will still pass my 90 minutes a week target

Got a busy busy week at work this week .. and next week now that I come to think of it lol .. but it does make the days go fast and I do prefer to keep busy Have started to continue on with one of my cross stitches that I hadn’t finished because I had made such a hash of positioning .. but I will just make it a little more individual and get the next one right lol … was going to scrap it altogether .. but have decided that would be a waste and me giving in .. so will just do the best I can with it Then I will get to do one of my other ones as Im sure by then I should be down 10 pounds

Soooo its a cold and frosty morning this morning .. but it looks like its going to be a sunny crisp day … Im sitting in Starbucks just watching the light get higher and the day starting nicely … this is something I LOVE about winter

Have a fab day all .. oh and Im going to be calculating something for everyone to look at so will get that up and posted asap

Hugs all!

Hi everyone!

Been struggling today. SO SNACKY. I want to eat everything in the house.

Trying to be good though, as midweek weigh in is tomorrow. Hoping for more than 0.2 loss!

Hello all.. I hope everyone is doing well...

Fera. oh those snack cravings are hard one to ignore...I walk around my house and find something to occupy my mind to get the thought to disappear... Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't LOL

NightKatt... Hello and have you not had any attacks (Hooray if so!) and are you having surgery on the Gallbladder?.. and Boy you are working alot....But your treats that you bring into the job probably brings the customers back time and again! I used to Cross stitch and have about 1000 pattern books LOL (30+ years old) and the seed bead stitching got me interested in making sead bead jewelry and now I crochet during my lunch hour at work and give away baby blankets and lap blankets to Seniors... I learned everything and now at 56 learned to crochet (the easiest of them all LOL)

Watch... sometimes the body just says.. hey.. I need a layover until I woosh again.. I just need this re-adjustment moment... but it will keep going down!

I am backing up .2 at a time... and have no idea.. must be some hidden salt I am thinking... Sugar and Salt... Shoot...the 2 banes of my life LOL

Have a terrific day all!

WOOHOO!!!

I didn't give in to my super snacky self yesterday (only a little, and stayed within my calories!) and the scale rewarded me today. Hopefully, I get to keep it and maybe a little more by my Friday weigh in! 305.0 today, 2.2 from Friday, and officially 25 pounds gone. WOO!
