Hi guys,

I'm Ubergirl. (dgramie I remember you). Tough love seems like a good spot for me. I'm trying to re lose about 80 lbs of my initial 110 lb loss.

Right now, I'm doing great but there are times I definitely need tough love.

Mind if I join?

I am working on relosing also.

My dr visit was ok. My bp was up a bit. Dr told me to change my coffee to decaf. I'm trying half and half and work my way down. Got scheduled for some test. Had labs , glucose is running high in the am but normal the rest of the day. Starting on potassium because it was low. Otherwise things look good except HDL is low. Lose weight and exercise was the dx.
Going to start walking today before kids get here.

Made it through one day with staying on plan. I know this shouldn't warrant a big announcement, but unfortunately for me it does. Now for a string of 2 days!

Dgramie Your pork loin cut up sounds good. You might buy some Start Your Engine for your lawn mower. Don't know what the stuff is (probably ether based) but it starts even engines that have been sitting with gas in them over the winter. Now if we can find a version for us! Sorry about the pre-diabetic diagnosis, but with good diet and exercise a lot of this can be controlled. You're already on the right track with losing weight.

Ubee Stop this off plan stuff right now. You know you can do this and with that new grandbaby you need to do this not only for yourself but to be able to chase him once he starts crawling, walking, and running. C'mon, Ubee, you can do this! (Decided you needed to resurrect your cheerleader!)

dgramie: bummer about pre diabetes but you are taking control! Good for you!
ubee: you can get back on plan! I just looked at my fit day food log from a year ago. I dropped 15 lbs then went on a trip and got off. For 3 days I logged by bad choices... then apparently on the fourth day I just gave up. Wish I hadn't!!!!!! Made me sad to look at it. Don't do what I did. A year from now you'll wish you had gotten back on track today.

I'm doing great right now, but I'm nervous: 14 straight days on plans. Since my regain I've manage to stay on plan for up to 3 weeks but never more before falling off in a big way. NOT GOING TO DO THAT this time.

I had a 2lb loss this week. That makes 18 off.
I'm still working on figuring glucose out. Last night I had a little snack and got the best reading yet.
Had some test yesterday and waiting for results. I feel like everything will be ok.
I didn't walk yesterday but will today!!

Dr called and mammogram and ultrasound showed a tumor. It's a non cancerous kind but still has to be removed. I'm saying the quicker the better!!!
