Katt Yipee! for a job at a clothing store! Hubby will have to take pictures of your new outfits. I hope they find out what is wrong with you and there is a simple cure.
Wana thanks so much. I needed that today. I'm having a rough day. I actually heard my fat girl voice say "Today I quit my diet." It came out of the blue. I had not heard that voice for a long time and it shocked me to be more vigilant.

Hi all

Had a lovely day with my hunny today .... we got up early to go to the book fair ... I got almost 100 books for only $14NZ .. there were about 20 double ups of books I already have .. but it was only because some sod went and butted in front of me and just took handfuls of the books I was collecting so I thought heck I will just grab what I can get and fill the bags for the bag price and sort them out at home .. so having about 20% double up Im ok about cos I will just put them with my other doubles and list them as a bulk lot on our NZ auction site lol.

After the book fair we went into what will be my work on Tuesday to get a few pieces of clothing (and for me to check it out to see what it would be like on a Saturday which will be one of my days to run lol) ... so I got a new pair of jeans (down a size!!) and 3 tops (also down a size!). So very happy with that.

A quick stop at the supermarket on the way home to buy a rotisserie chicken, breadrolls, beetroot, cheese slices and coleslaw for a late lunch .. then hunny had a nap and now we are watching Judge Judy lol ..

Love days like today

I hope everything works out NightKatt. That's some crazy attack. Great that you can enjoy a lazy Saturday. I used to watch alot of Judge Judy when I was in college, she can be pretty hilarious and SMART :P Also congrats on the job. I was unemployed at one point and can relate to that excitement of just getting out of the dang house

Good job on the progress for this challenge so far silent and sweet. I keep hovering around 351 and 352. Argh

Hey y'all! I just wanted to share a picture from yesterday. I live in Louisville Kentucky so yesterday was the first festival to kick off the Derby. It was a beautiful day and so I wore a dress! I wanted to share because honestly I can't believe it's me. I would have never worn a dress out in public that was sleeveless but I'm so glad I can now!

UBEE - I missed your post somehow but hey that voice is always going to be hanging around .. now that the doc has told me to just maintain etc its like a little whisper has started for me too and I must say its worse than facing a temptation cos now I have the doc backing the darn thing up! But Im so pleased to see you here and its a great thing to acknowledge when you hear that voice too .. big hugs

WANNA - Thanks for your wishes hun ... definitely one I hope to come true. Will hopefully have it confirmed tomorrow when I go in for the ultrasound

GURL - Yep .. love JJ, we do laugh most times when we watch her, wondering what on earth people are thinking not only suing for some of the things they do, but willing to make themselves look like idiots on International TV too lol ... mind you, in NZ we dont really have a "sue em" system. We do have small claims court, but its usually for things like rental disputes or damage to property ... definitely not things like a limo was late for the wedding or something .. the funniest ones we see are when someone is suing another person for keeping something that is theirs that may be illegal to have anyway! (like one we recently saw about a guy wanting his cannibis growing equipment back roflmao).

WATCH - You look LOVELY!!! I love that dress and you have really nice arms so flaunt em! Hope you had a fantastic day at the festival


Well I was pleased to get on the scale and see no weight lost or gained this week Doc will be happy lol .. Mind you, if I left it to my usual weigh in time and did it after I went to the bathroom then chances are it would be down a little, but Im noting it as no change this week.
I was checking my measurements yesterday as I had missed my March ones only to find that even tho I have lost about 10 pounds since my last measure, I have gone up like 1cm on all the measurements .. So darned if I know what has happened, but my hunny reckons its all the loose skin that is just dropping to some of those points so maybe the measurements wont change for a while until another substantial loss .. sooo .. will just leave it for a bit and see what its like at the end of the Biggest Loser challenge instead Still ok about it in a way cos I am down another dress size on this challenge

Off to sign all the paperwork for my new job today and get my hours etc, so have a great day all ...

Had a bad good day today. Lost my front tooth at the dentist and found out I have about a year of work to get done on my teeth otherwise it will start to affect the rest of my health ... can I just say I am getting darn frustrated with the fact that the more weight I am losing, the worse my health is getting lol .. tomorrow is the ultrasound to find out if its gallstones .. and first day at my new job .. without a front tooth Feeling very self conscious but hopefully will have it sorted out sooner rather than later.

watchout WOW! You look awesome! Your skin has really held up beyond belief! Congrats! Thank you for sharing!
Katt sorry about your tooth. So true about thinking we will get healthier as we lose weight. I did a lot of damage over the years and to think I am going to get younger and my body is going to turn back the hands of time is just a dream. My extra weight has aged my body and skin by at least 10 years. This morning I was shocked at the old lady looking back at me in the mirror. I understand the journey and how I got here. I am grateful that when my husband and I look at each other we see love and shared history.
Wana you are so close to having 100 pounds off! You are one of many that keep me going when I want to slack and give up. Watching you and Katt in the last challenge let me know that I don't have to give up and I can lose more. Thanks!

Ubee - Please don't be so hard on yourself. This is a journey, a long and sometimes painful one. We have set backs but never give up. Giving up only takes longer. So long as you know your goal and you're trying to achieve it, then you're doing great.

Thanks for the kind words! I definitely have saggy skin. But it does get better the smaller I get and I've decided to love the body I'm working towards in spite of the flaws. It's difficult to do at times, though.

WANNA - Great job again this week I think you will be the same as me unless you hit one of your wonderful WHOOOSH weeks of course .. ab fab!

UBEE - My fave part of your comment was the end about your and your hubby ... it just made me smile and I had to share it with my hunny which made him do a little grin too .. believe me .. that is a great reaction cos he is usually bah humbug over stuff like that lol .. other than to me I think you are lovely and I hope you will join me on the next challenge which will start just after this one finishes .. I was going to call it the Easter Recovery Challenge .. but have changed it to MAY DAY MAY DAY CHALLENGE as it will be just before the 1st lol While I am going to encourage everyone (plus me) to keep losing or maintaining .. I think I want to set it up to be a great support group instead and hope that everyone will babble more about their journey so that it can give each of us a little more insight into the journey

WATCH - Look at you fly past your goal VERY WELL DONE!! I hope you are really proud of yourself as Im sure we all are here .. already almost 10 pounds beyond your goal .. wow! Hope you are going to join us in the next challenge too .. what an inspiration




Okee .. so up early for the scan and it was sort of good and bad lol .. well .. good and not sure lol ... on the plus side .. yes its gall stones .. one big one and a bunch of little ones apparently .. now I put this on the plus side because at least that explains these attacks and now we can get a plan in place to fix that ... the so-so news was that the doc had asked for a complete abdominal scan so that included the liver and kidneys .. and the lady that was doing that ultrasound wasn't happy with my left kidney spending more time on it than on the darn gallbladder! She wouldn't tell me why either saying that the doctor will talk to me about it .. grrr .. so have to wait until at least next week to find out about that! After that we went and had a muffin and coffee before I headed off to work Was a great day .. talk about information overload though .. so much to take in after being away from work for so long ... not the customer service .. that is always a doddle .. but lots of new stock (if you want to see where Im working go to http://www.millers.com.au/Home.aspx?...egory=1&auto=1

Tomorrow is another full day, then Thursday I am running the store while the manager goes to set up a new store in a suburb on the other side of the hill (about 35 min away) .. so cripes I hope I get the close right tomorrow with her there lol ... then I have Easter Weekend off which is nice

Speaking of Easter .. WHAT DOES EVERYONE HAVE PLANNED???
I thought I was going to be working on the Saturday & Monday .. but nope .. so now Im not sure lol ... but NO EGGS/CHOCOLATE! lol .. so its going to be a relaxing weekend with my hunny I think .. or we might go for a drive to see some friends


Oooh .. before I forget .. when we got some work clothes on Saturday I got a cool pair of jeans ... now they do fit .. hips .. legs .. but the waist is a little big darn it ... Im thinking I might have been able to have the next size down cos I don't have to undo the button or zip to get them on or off lol .. but they are so comfy on the legs .. sigh .. AND ... a lady in the store asked me if we had any jeans .. I "modelled" mine for her and asked her like these and she said yes, showed her them, she looked at how they fit me and bought em!!! lol .. definitely made my day, even if my missing tooth made me self-conscious
