Never feel discouraged .. remember .. this is a journey .. not a quick trip around the corner and every difference - visible or not - is a step in the right direction. Believe me .. I hated having my pic taken .. and even now its only my hunny I want to take it lol .. but if you had asked me 6-7 months ago if I would be happy to have the front side back taken I would of said NO WAY!! Now I am very proud when I put the two pics together (before and now) .. still a way on the journey to go .. but its shocking to look at the original with the now and really see the difference that I don't see in the mirror (when I actually look in one .. which again is getting easier to do ) Be proud of yourself hun, taking a pic is actually a big step

Here is last months update (first weekend of March so Im due for another one next weekend I think lol)

I was about 317 pounds at the first one Whereas the March one I was about 250 ... so see .. its a great looking back tool ... especially when you are on a long journey

Just chilling at Starbucks while I wait for my bus to take me into the city for my interview. Feeling a few twinges from yesterday and was in such a rush to get out of the house this morning I forgot to weigh myself so will be a day late .. which may be a good thing as I have been misbehaving the last few days .. mainly due to the fact I am finally able to eat properly again without reacting and TOM hit with a vengeance on Monday ... only just finishing today .. sigh .. hate it when it hangs around for so long ... so hopefully I will have maintained if nothing else lol.

Have a good day all .. Weather for Monday is mild, overcast .. looks a little like rain .. at least I can feel it in the air ... but temps about 20 for the high (that is C not F lol).... so it looks like when you wake up tomorrow its going to be a good day heheheeh ... so from the future I will say bye bye and catch up again later

Katt 68 degrees sounds heavenly! We made it up to 50 today and it is so exciting. Of course it will drop into the 30's in a couple of days.

UBEE - As I haven't been feeling all that well I haven't done a lot of cooking .. I did make a carrot cake last week ... well ... I made little loaves of carrot cake They went down well ... also I made a stewed fruit crumble .. which had 3 apples, 1 peacharine & 4 plums which I had chopped up and stewed with 2Tbsp Water, 1/4 cup of loosely packed Dark Cane Sugar, 1tsp of Cinnamon & 1/4tsp Nutmeg. The plum mixed nicely away and formed a thicker liquid with the sugar. That went in the bottom of a casserole dish and then I sprinkled over a crumble made from Rolled Oats, Almond Meal, Flour, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, a little butter and a little chocolate ... you can nix the chocolate if needed lol. Baked it for about 30 min in a moderate oven and made a vanilla cream to go on it
I have to make some banana cakes in the next couple of days because I have a heap of ripe ones to use up .. sooooo maybe a little baking Wednesday as I have nothing else planned.

My interview today went well and I am getting called back for a final interview later this week Crossing fingers cos I would really like to work in this store. Got another interview at another place tomorrow .. and then another one elsewhere on Thursday .. but that one is going to be a new experience for me as its an interview via Skype lol .. never had that before so should be fun .. just hoping the camera doesn't really add 10 pounds on lol. also means that I don't have to get fully dressed lol

I was going to be guilty of not admitting my behaviour this week and "forgetting" to weigh in .. but that wouldn't be fair to you or me ... so sucking it up and admitting my carb fest last week definitely cost me ... just thankful I did that 5km or lord knows how much I would have put on lol ... Katt good job fessing up. I think we need to come up with a better name then carb fest. That sounds too forgiving. I want a phrase that will make me think long and hard before I give in and maybe stop me from giving in.
