Had a vacation, go lives at work, mom visiting etc etc.

Sorry for my absence. Kept dieting tho and working out

Oh I hope everyone is doing well... I had a MARVELOUS scale morning.. I am down 2 lbs... Finally getting a true whoosh and down 5.6 lbs this month... I have to get 7 to make this a better month as the last 2 months I have only lost 5-6 lbs... I WANT MORE!

Are we still allowed to join? I just recently got back into the 3FC forum swing of things and trying to get back on track with my weight loss. I've never done a challenge like this before, so I think it will be a good 'beginner's' motivation.

WANNASKIPANDLAUGH - Thank you for your thoughts .. unfortunately its not good news, but we are coping and trying to put it into perspective. I must be stronger than I used to be, because before this sort of thing would send me into a downward spiral that would last for weeks if not months .. but other than a couple of days I have tried to be back on track. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts
Oops about your scales .. darn its in the wrong direction, but better to find out now so you can adjust your goals etc and keep on track .. I faced the same thing yesterday when I went to the tailor to get my correct measurements .. I had been measuring the wrong point so unfortunately it was worse than I thought lol .. ah well .. thank goodness the scales have been positive or else I would have been really depressed! ... so will update your results when they are posted with the “right” figures

ALICIA - Hopefully you are feeling better today and the pain is lessening ... maybe the nausea is from the bready things rather than the fact its food? I unfortunately havent heard of mirena let alone lawsuits .. in NZ we very rarely have lawsuits .. in fact I cant even think of any really ... hummm .. now Im wondering what we can sue for in NZ?? Get well soon!

CHEERILOOS - How are you feeling today?? 3lb .. thats not so bad ... and if you think about it .. the best part is that you are aware of it .. and you still want to fight ... better than being aware and giving up Big Hugs and looking forward to seeing the pics

MARA - Funnily enough the colours have changed lol .. my hunny wants me to stand out on the wedding day .. Im used to just being in the background and putting everyone else to the front .. so it will be a new experience for me .. and no to blue .. purple .. or gold .. my dress is going to be ...... a VIBRANT RED!! Yup .. red wedding dress .. hummm .. I wonder if that is good luck?? Im gonna have accents of purple, black & gold though.

SUZYQUK - Welcome Back!! Hope you had a good break and you are all settled again now .. great that you have still be on the journey and great that you have gone down another 10 .. thats like 2.5lb a week since you have been gone Well done!!!

WANNASKIPANDLAUGH - Wahoo about the loss. Looking forward to your next weigh in then Especially now your scale is on track with you You are soooo rockin!

FRESH FEELING - Lovely job again this week Well done .. I can see you 7.5kg goal is soooo gonna get hit lol .. wtg!

SPINERELLA - Welcome on back to 3FC .. and its definitely not too late to join in .. love having people join in Just post your goal and your weight each week (see how the others do it lol) .. and if you like this week coming up is the measurement week which we try to do at the beginning of each month .. you can join in that too if you like .. which is another good yardstick for the journey in case the scales misbehave. Also its a good idea to take a clear pic (front/side/back shot) so that you have something to compare it to .. if you make the clothes a little more fitted and keep taking the shots in those it will really show any differences better )




Well .. cant say its been a wonderful week for me really .. not looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow .. but if I maintain I will be happy I think ... Had a few bad moments last weeks, a couple of days where I really went into a funk and started cutting myself off and not eating .. but my friends got pushy and pulled me out of it ... still hovering .. but a lot better. Unfortunately that really messed up my system so I dont think there will be anything positive on the scale tomorrow .. still facing it now so I dont feel too bad tomorrow.
While I still havent gone over the 1000 cal each day by much .. I have had a few treats this week .. Thursday night my hunny took me out for Thai for dinner to cheer me up .. I had 6 small vege spring rolls & a little steamed chicken & vegetables with broth... on Friday I had a sausage roll (but only the meat part, didnt eat any of the pastry), and about 8 chips ... on Saturday I had a Tendergrill Chicken Burger at Burger King (and about 10 fries) .. and then today I had lunch out with my mum at a Home & Garden Expo... it was healthy-ish lol .... a small pita bread pocket with salad, no dressing and a little ham off the bone.

Sooo .. I really dont know .. and I am not going to sneak a peek .. I will just accept whatever happens in the morning at weigh-in.

OMG .. .just realised I havent posted last weeks results .. so sorry peeps .. have updated and added below Another great week overall and lovely to see a couple of our team come on back to play with us I think I was holding off posting waiting for the missing members to post .. but there are quite a few still missing this week unfortunately... hopefully better next week.

NightKatt.. you really are a marvel.. and I would love to have friends and a hunny like you have.. They are concerned about you and are there to help, comfort and remind you of your direction.. OH they are loves!... Blessings!!! and not to worry about the inches.. those are going down down down down for you!... I cannot wait until you post pictures of your wedding... I am SO enjoying your story leading up to it! again as you inspire ME!

Think I may skip this week's weigh in. Still feeling like Crap after surgery. My belly has doubled in size & hasn't gone back to normal yet. I am staying away from the scale!

Here is my weigh in this week .. I really thought I was going to go in the wrong direction this week so even though its not a HUGE loss .. at least its a solid loss so a little less stressed ... still have another 9 weeks til the wedding (at least I think its that much lol) .. so if I can get at least another 22 pounds off I will be happy ... so ... target is 2.5lb a week ... but as long as I can keep going in the right direction I will be happy

Hummm .. now .. who had that challenge of 289 by the end of Sept?? I missed it .. just .. but I got closer than i thought I would lol .. so how has the challenge gone?

Cheeriloos: Very Good vent....I hope it helped. I could feel your pain, sadness, etc... AND what NightKatt..said...

NightKatt you are doing great...I am jealous.

With all the time spent coughing & blowing my nose the last few days I had a lot of thinking time... I don't take losing this weight seriously....I say I want to lose the weight, get healthy...but I don't put it first in my daily life...it always is the last thing I consider....if I have to run an unexpected errand..I use my exercise time... If someone calls and talks for awhile I use my "making a good dinner" for that and grab a "bad" food to eat.

SO this week I am getting serious...~~ Not sure how to conquer this but....I am certainly going to try. even if I have to beat it into myself...

Ok.. I am going to *try* and weigh in on Mondays if I can
I was pleasantly surprised by my weigh in on monday since i was at the state fair over the weekend. I watched my calories very carefully and only ate 850 at the fair and walked 6 miles. I still had dinner that night as a result.
