Morning all!

Wow, it's amazing how much better I feel with almost a full night's sleep!! Cant believe both dogs let me sleep. Sadly, getting up at 5:15 is late these days!!

Had a slip in eating yesterday. Binged a bit on cereal (I don't have a lot to binge on!). I think my choice of a muffin earlier in the day was too carby and a bad idea. But I went to the store and bought fruits and veg and no sweets and am ready for a new week!

WE are heading to my hometown tonight to be there with family. Just heard they are calling for heavy rain for the next 2 days. JOY!

Still eating a bit on the light side but just dont feel like eating. Im sure that will change when I get to my moms and see all the food that has been brought in.

Must have been a good sleep kind of night - it's cool and rainy here - was wonderful.

Eating yesterday was reasonable but not POP. Today will work on being POP and tracking each bite.

We can do this!

Deb, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. How tragic to lose a sibling at such a young age.

Good morning - not a 100% POP day but no sweets and reasonable eating. Will work for 100% today.

We can do this!

I had a long day on my feet yesterday, but I managed to get some exercise done in my cardio/weights class. Didn't burn any calories with enthusiasm! Then I came home after the workout and ate pork rinds! My first time! Not something I'm going to have often, but I really wanted something crunchy/salty and they were the only thing that I had in the house that didn't have carbs.

Back at it with the long day today, and again tomorrow. We started cooking for our local Greek festival. We feed thousands of people over the course of three days in early September. This week we're making spanakopita. My arms were elbow-deep in vats of spinach, feta, and eggs, hand mixing everything. Had a great time chatting with all the older Greek ladies that I've know since I was a little girl. The whole place smelled buttery!

Georgia I have not started exercise yet, after standing on my feet for 8 hours its hard to have the enthusiam for exercise. I think I need to work on it.
Congraduations on doing the exercise after all that hard work you did.

Mary, after my second day of being on my feet for half a day, I totally understand why exercise isn't anywhere near the top of your priorities. If I wasn't required to exercise at work, I'd have skipped class! But I did go to Pilates tonight, and it was good to work on my back and stretch some things out. I don't feel so much pain now.

One thing all this extra activity is doing to me is increasing my appetite. So hungry! Too tired to cook, so I made a big salad with sardines. Then I had toast with butter. And then a burger patty with cheese. And I still want to eat! Oh dear! Perhaps I'll go to bed.

Glad you are getting the extra exercise in I bet you feel a lot better when you finish exercising even if it makes you hungry. Good work.

Hi ladies, I've been MIA. Have spent the last three days working with DH to clean out an apartment in the town where he works.

Debbie, so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Mary, welcome.

Everyone else: Hello! More tomorrow when I've gotten a good night's sleep.

Angela
