I think my mind is on vacation already. Started my packing list today and will start packing tomorrow. Going for a walk with hubby after my haircut this morning. He is walking long walks now and I can tell he is feeling great!

I made it! 2 days POP! Will try to make today the same.

We had heavy rain forecasted to begin around noon today. I was at BJ's when it opened, at 9. I came out around 9:20 and the heavens opened up when I was on my way to the car. I got soaked. My purchases got soaked. Grrrr! Thanks for nothing Weatherman.

On top of that I'd curled my hair this morning for the first time in literally, years........ It's bone straight now.

j-ann I would love to know why with all the technology avaliable to the weathermen they don't get it spot on a bit more? And I sympathise with your hair crisis. It ALWAYS rains the day I go to the hairdressers!
My knees are so very much better now. I did my usual 2.6 miles this morning in the pouring rain in a time not too far off my quickest. And I saw someone I hadn't seen for over a year who didn't recognise me partly because of the weight I had lost but also I was wet through and had my hair scraped back in a bandana!
Have had a chat with ever supportive hubby who has suggested that we go on a family holiday to North Wales next year when I have reached goal so that my daughter and I can climb the highest peak in Wales and hubby and son can meet us at the bottom with a flask of tea and alot of hugs!!! I am soooo excited!

Mountain walker -- Great goal to look forward to!!

I am prepping myself for a "reboot". Setting a weight loss goal and getting all my ducks in a row to foster success. Just got back from the gym!

Garage sale is over and was successful as far as decluttering.

Heather - yay for the reboot!

Food was pretty good around here this weekend - need to make it POP though.

Stay strong!

Well, food started to take a nosedive today, but I ended well and probably not much over calories. AND had a great workout with my old trainer -- we got some free sessions when we rejoined the gym!

Hi all. I'm still here.

Right now my goal is just to check in a few days in a row to prove to myself I can do that much. I've totally lost it and have to find my way back. I don't even have a working scale. In fact, you know what, that's what I'm going to do before I go to bed--order a scale.

Have a great Tuesday, all, and I'll talk with you again then.

Angela

Hi Angela - always good to see you.

Heather - I've been thinking back to my most successful time and it was when I was working with my trainer and exercise was almost an obsession. Wouldn't be bad to get back there. Think I will call Jill today to see if she has some open spots.

Today was WI and what I thought had been a pretty good week was a 2.25 lb gain. Time to record every bite.

Stay strong!

Every bite recorded today and came in much lower than my guess would have been. Also weighed/measured each serving.

Food is oK. Not the best choices this week but we are eating up what is in the house before we go to the mountians. I am trying to avoid as many bad carbs and concentrate on the meat and veggies most.
I walked again with hubby yesterday. It was HOT but we made it. Scales havent moved at all yet! oH well they will I know exercise is my missing key!

Food wasn't as good yesterday, and I didn't exercise. But eating wasn't terrible and I hadn't planned to work out. Today... we'll see.

Wonderful POP day yesterday. An hour of water aerobics, food spot on and each bite recorded. It really seems to make such a difference when I journal my food.

I reached out to my old trainer to see if she has any openings - big step.

Stay strong!

It is amazing how just a few days of walking will increase my energy level. I didnt get to walk yesterday due to company stopping by. We had a great visit though. Food is good considering we are eating whats in the house.
We head to our daughters to spend the night tonight and then head out before daybreak tomorrow for the mountians. I am so super excited!!!!!!!!
