dgrammie I had a meltdown last week. I was sooo full of negativity and "I am so far away from my goal...and I will always be fat.........." TOM was lurking. I get a bit scared when I am like that. Partly because of my previous dieting history and partly beacuse of my mental health problems. But the sun came out pretty quickly...I only had 3 days of awfulness and climbed straight back on the path to health and wellbeing.
I had been diagnosed with PCOS (something else to increase my risk of diabetes!) and haven't had reliable periods since my late 20's. Well guess what??? They have settled into a more or less proper pattern now I have started to treat myself properly and lose weight.... that is another NSV.
I am so sorry your little grandson is poorly.... it breaks your heart when they are vulnerable and scared but he has a lovely grandma and you can make your grand daughters feel extra special when they come and stay.
On a totally separate topic hubby and I have made a committment to save at least the money we no longer spend on his cigarettes ( he quit 6 months ago) or on takeaways and chocolate and are aiming to relocate to Scotland in 2 years when my beautiful daughter will be heading to University.
Our dream is to have a smallholding but our finances will be limited so that may not come to reality. It is nice to have something to focus on apart from my long term weight loss goal!.
Take care xxx

I walked a couple of miles yesterday, so yay. Let's not talk about the food..

I'm going to make a ONE DAY commitment to accountability and will write down all my food today.

Then I'll go from there.

dgramie: lot's of love and prayers to your little guy. Hope all goes well.

I've been keepin on, just humming along. Some bad spots during the day, but trying to stay on track, being more mindful of what I'm doing and eating. Been hurting myself a lot lately, being super clumsy...falling down, tripping, stubbing...my poor feet are taking a real beating!

I am going to keep my girls til sunday night and then get ready for my 31party. NO im not 31...lol ( i wish). Its purses and bags personalized.

Food has been good but not great! Just trying to maintain til after monday.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Had a good food day yesterday -- staying busy was really helpful.

And we rejoined our gym (as of today). May not get there today as we have a full day planned but I WILL GO TO THE GYM tomorrow!!!
