Debbie - Yes, I think you are south of me -- I'm up by Chicago.

Had a decent food day yesterday. Keeping busy helps me not to binge!

I have to do baby steps. I can't go from my all out binging to totally OP. I feel like I'm making progress.

My aunt passed away late last night. I am sad but at least she isnt suffering any more. I know I will have lots of food challenges in my future now. My family is full of amazing cooks!!
My neighbor brought over fresh blackberries. I have a cobbler in the oven. May try to take it to moms and leave it there.

Deb, I am so sorry about your aunt. Taking the cobbler to Moms sounds like a good idea.

Is it getting really warm where you all are. It has been rather pleasant here until yesterday. I promised myself that I was going to get outside and walk some every day. (with my rollator) HA! I see that happening.

You garden ladies think of the rest of us when you are eating those nice home grown veggies. This is the first year we haven't had anything growing in the way of veggies.

Well, stay cool and as Carol says, stay strong. Ruth

thanks everyone! I feel good knowing she is with her mom and dad and brother in heaven. I am worried about my poor daddy and how he is coping. Daddy isnt able to really talk since his stroke so all we can see is his tears.
I had a great day of eating yesterday, didnt touch the cobbler.I love the stuff but know that my colon doesnt need the seeds.
I am loving my new hairstyle, just wash and gel and go.

Deb -- My condolences. Good choice on the cobbler.

It has been HOT here for sure. I think we hit 100 yesterday??? Finally cooling off, but still no rain.

Good morning all,

Yep, Heather it is hot! Summer has truly arrived in Ga.

My scale was heading up, up and away this morning. I hope it is water, my feet are swollen so it may be. See what you have to look forward to in your old age? LOL! There are always surprises....like not being able to open jars, plastic wrap or lift your arms above your head to reach anything over it! I keep asking "when did this happen"? Dang, I got old in a hurry and not any smarter evidently, I am after all, still fat as a pig! Wisdom does not come with age!

Enough of that. I hope you are all doing well and op. Ruth

Down a pound at weigh in yesterday. That get's rid of the 0.8 lb gain of the previous week and gives me a little start downward for the new week. PHEW!

I have a very social weekend -- Saturday in Chicago with a friend: museum, lunch and facials. And then getting together with another friend on Sunday, probably more diet friendly!!!

Yay Debbie!! I have had several cherry tomatoes, but no other tomatoes to full size. I've got female squash flowers, but no males, so no squash yet...

But I've harvested a few peppers!

Heading to my hometown today for my aunts visation and to see my daddy. He as admitted to the hospital yesterday with pneumonia. Mom said he seems to be a bit better this morning. Just found out we will be caught in lots of yardsale traffic today. They are hosting a yardsale on that highway throughout a few states. JOy!! I love yardsales as you all know but not in this heat and not in a dress. LOL
