Default Can't Believe I'm Here...

Hi guys. I've joined 3FC a few times over the years. Each time I've fallen off the bandwagon and had start over. I'm determined NOT to let that happen again!

The first time I joined, I weighed 247 pounds. I was stuck after losing 15 pounds and wanted more motivation.

The next time I was 265. 265 was what I weighed when I was at my highest weight during pregnancy. I lost it quickly after birth and went down to 235. So, when I hit 265, I got desperate.

The last time I joined, I was 285.

I'm 310-315 (it fluctuates) now. I'm sickened with myself and wish I could erase all of my bad choices over the years. I moved 1500 miles away from my family 4 years ago and it's been a downward spiral (or upward? ) since then. Depression on and off, just burying myself in bad food to cope, ignoring the scale and mirrors for the most part.

I'M DONE.

I need to get healthy, and would love to join you all, as I need some serious support.

My plan of action is to just do the obvious: eat healthier, exercise regularly, and just be more active in general. I'm going to start there and change my POA as I go.

If you got this far - thank you!!

I guess I should add...
I'm 25 and a proud mommy and wife. Aside from the number on the scale, I really want to get healthy and show my daughter how to take care of herself (lead by example).

WTG! Pushing yourself is good, but don't make yourself sick. You could hurt yourself and then you couldn't work out. Congrats on going to the gym though. That's a great step in the right direction!

-hug!- I'm a newbie here, but had to post anyway I'm 23 and I've also joined 3FC several times in the past few years. I don't remember exact weights, but each time I came back more desperate than the last... I'm currently sitting at 338, started at over 350 (I'll never know exact, because the dr. scales wouldn't go up any higher than 350!) and have worked it down since January.

I'm here if you ever wanna talk

Such a common story! You're among people that absolutely understand. Never stop starting, and take the valuable, valuable lesson from those here that post through their successes and their struggles. As a black and white dieter to date I have such admiration for those that have learned to stay connected to the process even as they aren't attaining the behaviour and goals they desire in the moment.
