These forums have been one of the top reasons for my success. Being able to share hopes and fears, get feedback on plans and progress, and then being able to turn around and give some tips on the way is magnificent motivation.

I know my answer is kind of redundant by now, but I wanted to chime it too.

YES, it helps me. I mean, I am really lucky, I have a lot of real life support for my weight loss, but I don't want to drive every one in my life batty with nothing but talk of calories or serving size. So I use 3FC to get my 'fix' LOL

Yes it helps me a lot. I have been at this for 13 months now. I have had to make it a real priority in my life. I say that healthy eating is one of my new hobbies. I don't really have anyone in my life that shares that interest. So, coming here allows me to talk with like-minded people. It is a healthy outlet and saves my family and friends from having to put up with me.

It is encouraging to know that I am not alone in my struggles and it is also fun to share victories with other people who can really appreciate what I'm going through. I get good perspective from reading various topics, some apply to me and others don't, but I can pick and choose what is helpful to me at any particular time.

Yes * million.

There's no way I would've stuck to this this long without 3FC. No way. I have never been remotely this successful at dieting in the past and never had the courage to believe that I could do it long-term either without 3FC. The support and knowledge here is absolutely amazing.

Definitely! Being on this forum related pretty directly to my weight loss. Both times in the last two years that I've lost any measurable amount of weight (about 35 pounds the first time, about 45 pounds the second), I've been on this forum every day. Granted, it's probably more that I visit consistently when I'm committed than that I'm committed when I visit consistently, but it does certainly help with focus. Plus it's actually helpful! The challenge I'm in now keeps me thinking about my plan more, and people every day post about interesting topics that help me on the way. Woohoo 3fc!

P.S. The color of your hair is fantastic!!
