Default Starting to get used to this website!

Hi, I just signed up a few days ago and was told to check out the different support groups. I figured since my weight is over 300lbs, I might as well start here. I used to be on a MRC diet 2 years ago, but life got in the way and I had to stop. It took me awhile, but I manage to get back on my feet again. I am now focusing on my Operation: 2012 goal, which is to become more healthy and actually stay that way. the first step is go start dieting again. I don't fear the start of being on a diet again, but it is something important to me and I will stay the course to lose all this extra weight.

Welcome madbomber! I'm glad to see you here, and hope to see more of you!

What plan are you following? I'm calorie counting, mainly because the thought of 'forbidden' foods tends to make me binge on them. LOL

I really like the 300+ forum, because we really do face different challenges with so much weight to lose. The only draw back is that it's not as 'busy'. I like to scan a lot of different threads for support. Keep looking around & use us for support, OK?!

Thanks for the welcomes. The plan I would like to go on is called the Meta Slim Plus, I think its called. It was a plan I was on 2 years ago when I was signed up with MRC. It was a successful plan until I had some family issues come up. It took me until now to free myself from it and try to get back on the road to living healthier.

Welcome! Definitely look around at the whole site, including the articles on the main 3fatchicks.com front page. My favorite threads on the forums are the "Goal" and "Mini-goal" ones - they are so inspiring, especially when people include pictures!

So, I got to see some of the other pages on this site and I think they're cool. I even started a blog to use as a journal form my weight loss. I'm a couple days away from starting on my weight loss plan. I plan on weighing myself once a week starting 1-09-12.

Today, I started my exercise routine where I work out for 30 minutes in the morning before breakfast. I guess I picked a good one because I can feel how sore some of my muscles already. Man, its been awhile since I worked out this much. Looking forward to getting more into shape so I can incorporate a better workout.
