Life in a LIfeboat - 10 Days at a Time #9
O.K. Here's the next segment of 10 days in the lifeboat.
Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support.
So what is your plan for this 10 day segment?
Hugs,
Ratkity

Veggies and fruit are a key for me too Deb.
I like this idea of stringing OP days together to stay dry so I'm gonna work on that over these 1o days.

Hey, gang, I'm in the boat this time. Time to focus like a laser beam!
My plan is going to change from day to day, at least over the first few days of this 10 day segment. Specifically, I had stopped recording every bite for some time, and so I think I was off in my estimates of calories. So, my plan for this 10 days is:
~~ journal everything, every day
~~ 15 minutes of intentional exercise every day
~~ 4 glasses of water every day
~~ stick to daily calorie limit, which I will determine each evening for the next day.
~~ post here before bedtime each day to report on my success for the day
Today my calorie limit is a generous 2000 calories. I'm hoping I'll be below that; whatever today's total is, assuming it's anywhere below 2000, I'll shave off 50 to come up with tomorrow's limit. I want to get myself to the 1600-1800 range, but I'm easing into it.

This 10 days is protein and vitamins. I've skipped a couple days of vitamins each week and that can be deadly for the WLS I had.
No messing around in this lifeboat!! I have warm towels for all too.
Hugs,
Ratkity

How sweet it is - clean eating that is. I already have the withdrawal headache too. Has been a POP day - will hit the gym on Wednesday - need to take baby steps.
Thanks for the towels Rat - you guys always have my back!

Uh oh, we're all on withdrawal, eh?
POP today; calories came in at 1900, so tomorrow's limit is 1850. I'll do that 2 days and if all goes well I'll go down to 1800.
I really have to start drinking earlier in the day... ha ha, but you know what I mean.
Here's to tomorrow!

I really need to grocery shop today! Need to fill the house with lean meats. I have some fruits and veggies but need better meat choices. For some reason Im thinking a pot of soup with lots of veggies for today.

Love the dry feeling. Got my gallon of water in early enough I was only up 3 times during the night.

I finally saw the holiday weight gain start to go down - 3.6 lbs to be back at pre-Christmas weight. I think I will keep a life jacket off for the next few days for extra support.

Dry here too - will see if the gym recognizes me tonight. I'm back to pre-vacation weight - now to get off the surgery weight.
