Yesterday was a bottle that great feeling day. Looking forward to another workout in the pool. The new instructor really pushes in this new class - sculpt, tone and burn. Never been sore from water exercise before and I am today. I'm considering giving up land exercises except for walking and do more in the water - these stupid old joints.

Tonight is a work event - I suppose with rubber chicken. Need to make good choices and continue this POP streak. Actually looking forward to seeing Livestrong Park where the event will be held - not a big soccer fan so haven't seen the new stadium.

Stay strong!

HAPPY SATURDAY!

I just finished cleaning off the car and shoveling a spot for Paige Pointer off the terrace. We're probably at about 14" (doubled + this Winter's snow total in less than a day). The snow we got over night is light fluffy lake effect snow. It weighs nothing and will sparkle when/if the sun comes out.

Yesterday was POP and I drank all 64 oz of water, and a little more. Our first real snow of the year arrived yesterday and I stayed home to let other folks get in their practice driving. I'll wait and get mine tomorrow or Monday. I'm not used to staying literally, at home all day. It sure makes staying OP easier.

Carol: Food at events like you're going to tonight is usually not the tastiest. Just don't get there hungry. You can't beat water exercises. Enjoy!

tw: I'm not sure how Vitalicious packages for stores. I know the brownies/muffins come in a box of four. When I mail order the muffin tops come singly but I can't believe they market them that way.

Think I'm going to throw in some laundry and grab a book to read.

See y'all later ....

Happy Saturday everyone!

Thanks for the feed back on losing so fast at first. I will watch and see how things go this next week. I have no clue how many calories I was eating before. A BAZILLION perhaps.

Last night my daughter came into town from her college town (4 hours away).... we went out to eat at Applebees....i must admit, I went way over my limit. Dusting myself off this morning and regrouping. Everything was okay BUT the chips and con queso.......oooops! Water water water today and definitely salad.

I dusted off my wii fit stuff and going to start that today, time to start moving and see how that fits into all of this. I have been making myself take the stairs at work instead of elevator (3rd floor) ugh..huff puff puff....but I will make it. Seems to be a little easier than when I first started it.

Have been cleaning house this morning, going to sit and crochet this afternoon I think and stay warm. Still the frozen tundra here!

Have a great saturday everyone!

Jen

Got healthy food in the house today and now checking in before I go and finish reading a book I picked up this morning. I am not worth a thing when I have a book started.

Sometimes it's nice to be single ...... like when it's -11ºF outside and you decide to just stay in the house ...... and there's nothing worth pigging out on in the house because I don't have to have goodies in the house for others. Since this is stay at home day 3 in row(Friday - snowing, yesterday and today - just too cold)for me I'm hoping for a really good w/i on Wednesday.

Deb - I'm with you on the book. Started Jayne Ann Krenz's "Copper Beach" yesterday. I enjoy a good fantasy combined with a love story and her books fills the bill.

Heather: Glad you're feeling better.

Ruth - Hi!

Jen: Use that Wii-Fit to burn off Applebees.

Okay, as much as I'd like to spend the day in my jammies I have to get dressed, take the dog out and fill the bird feeder. Brrrrrr

Cold day, brrrr!

j-ann, I am still in my jammies. They feel great.

Stay warm everyone. A good book and a nice comfy chair, who could ask for more. (no church today). Ruth

Stay warm, all.

Not much happening here. Must go out and run some errands, then making chicken paprikash later.

Good morning ladies, How was your weekend?

It is still cold here. We had some really warm weather for a few days and then mother nature decided to show us a little winter weather. BRRRR! I liked the 70 degree weather better.

Not much going on here in my little town. Maybe that is a good thing? Nothing exciting!

Have a wonderful day and stay warm! Ruth

ps: Deb, How is your Dad?

Morning Ruth - not much going on here either. Back to work and another week. We are having warm weather today then back to the cold. Really need some snow for the winter wheat.

Stay strong all!

We are in a big warm up also. Then a cool down for a day or so, I heard something about thunder today in the forcast.

I have slacked on recording each bite. Here jan is half over and my weight is about the same as at the start of the year.

ruth- my dad is hanging on but it cant be long if he doesnt start to eat again. He is eating just a few bites of food each day. We ended up staying home this weekend and will go see him next weekend. Mom had a stomach bug and we didnt want to take a chance of getting it.

No big warm up here, but it might hit 40...

Scale inched down a couple of pounds despite TOM. I'm feeling rock solid. I think eating "no sweets" is easier for me. Well, I do have splenda in my coffee, soda and hot cocoa, but so far no caloric, processed sugar.

This week should be okay foodwise, but after that I have some stuff coming up that might be tough...

I guess it's a warm up. Below zero this morning but expecting low 30's late in the day. I should hit the grocery store today. Brrr

Life is quiet. Stayed in all weekend so I've been OP. Even drank all my water+.

Deb: Praying for your Dad and you. This is one of those times in life no one wants to face.

Heather: Hurray! So happy for your loss and your confidence!
