Life in the Lifeboat - 10 days at a time #4
O.K. Here's the next segment of 10 days in the lifeboat.
Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support.
So what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Well my last 10 days were fantastic. I lost a total of 5.2 lbs.
This 10 days I'm gonna continue doing what I'm doing. The only change will be to my sleeping habits. On monday I will be getting my BiPap machine for my recent sleep apnea diagnosis. I'm nervous about getting use to it and excited about sleeping better and feeling better.
Good luck everyone!

Mornin'
My last 10 days were not my best. I stayed w/i my WW pts. but salt got me at weigh in.
This 10 days I'll try to make better choices w/i my pts. and definitely watch my salt intake.
Now where are my oars????

I did good the last 10 days and it feels so good. I lost out of my 5lb yoyo range. I am a daily weigher and love seeing the scale go down even a little each day. Woo HOO
I will walk more this 10 days and jog on the minitramp more.I will not have any diet soft drinks!!After being gone for yrs they were slowly creeping back in.

I fell out of the boat yesterday on the last day of our last 10. I even over-did wheat yesterday by snarfing 10 huge cookies and am paying for it today on the potty (oiy!).
This time I'm am committing to no sugared sodas, no vending machine food (did good with that one last time). I am going to commit to increasing protein and thus decreasing carbs.
Hugs to all!

I'm POP so far, since I just started Monday. This weekend is going to be my first real test, and then like I said, next week is going to be all-food, all week at work. So I think my best bet is going to be to make sure that I log all of my food, every day. It should keep me honest, even if I end up eating bites of things here and there that make calories hard to calculate.
In 10 days, i'm hoping to lose 4lbs. from my 353.8lbs righ now. I'm still early in it, so I'm still losing some water weight, I'm thinking I can do this!

Calories were ok yesterday but sodium was too high and the scales show it today.

Branson was OK - not sure we will go again. Food was OK - could have been much worse but also could have been much better. Grilled chicken salad tonight sounds so good!

day 2 was higher in sodium than the day before. Scales took a major jump this morning. I will drink extra water today and plan a bit better.

Welcome Vickie!!
Set whatever goal you want and try to stick to it for 10 days. Yup, accountability-type thread. It's ok if you fall out of the lifeboat. We have towels and life preservers and lots of cheering.
We originally had a 100 days in the lifeboat, but decided to break it down into smaller increments.
I had too many carbs yesterday and not enough protein. Got a little splashed, but no soda!! I even had fish for supper. The carbs are playing havoc with my intestines this morning. Sheepishly toweling off and trying to plan some high protein meals.
Hugs,
Ratkity
