Default 300+ Wellness Goals-November 2011

Here's how it works: Everyone of us has wellness goals. Break those goals up into small, achievable steps and challenge yourself to meet your goals by the end of the month. They can be a number of pounds lost; please keep it reasonable and safe, dietary goals, goals to change your mindset, etc. Let's all support and encourage each other on this life long journey. Don't get discouraged if you don't meet your goal, just keep on challenging yourself.

You can join at any time.

This website might help you WITH GOAL SETTING: http://www.goal-setting-guide.com/go...-of-your-goals

Remember goals should be...
■S = Specific
■M = Measurable
■A = Attainable
■R = Realistic
■T = Timely

Do a dvd a day for the month! Hubby is starting to have anxiety issues again and exercise helps that so much!

I think that if nothing else, posting frequently helped me maintain my loss and feel like I'm "in touch" with you all...my buddies. So, my goals for November are:
-post daily
-I need to work on being aware of what I'm eating. I will either track it in my WW tracker and/or include it in my posts. I'll take. Much help on this one as you can offer, it seems I need a team of people to get me back on track.
-MCA exercises 6 times prior to surgery on the 11th

Kinda struggling today emotionally. I'm easily agitated and just feel like giving up on things. Under a lot of stress. So my goal is to make it through today and try to come up with goals for the month tomorrow or no later than Thursday. I think that is the best I can do today.
I hope to see you all posting your goals and checking in regularly. Lynnie you are doing awesome!!

November Wellness Goals

- post on 3FC every Tues-Friday
- exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, Tues-Friday
- track everything I eat on livestrong.com/myplate

Thanks for starting this thread for November goodnuff! Did you track your food today? What are MCA exercises?

dgramie - I hope the exercise is going well for you and hubby!

ToniLight - Are you obsessing?

pommesucre - Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I love checking in with my 3FC friends!

tw - Awww, I'm so sorry you're having a crap day. I think your goal to make it through the day is GREAT. You're recognizing how emotionally unbalanced you are today, and you're just going to keep plugging on. Yay!

Good morning!

I am posting, I am here. Woohoo. Tracked everything yesterday & was right on target for calories. I did my exercise yesterday too. These four days a week that I'm at work are sooooooooo much easier to stay POP than my three days at home. My days are very structured during the work weeek. That freedom to choose makes it a lot harder.

goodnuff - I don't think it's embarrassing at all. I'm glad you were truthful to yourself and to us. That's the whole point of tracking, right?

Lynn - so glad to see you again. You have been one of my inspirations from the start. I hope you get as many work hours as you want for this month!

I hope all you other wonderful 3FCers are doing WELL. I love reading your goals and how you are working to achieve them.

I am here and posting!
I started tracking today!
I went to the YMCA last night and met with the trainer who set me up on a program with the weights/machines (to add to the cardio/Bike I have been doing). I am hurting today (in a good way, I guess!)
Goodnuff: Are you just tracking what you eat or are you tracking points or calories? Are you still doing WW? Just curious. When I was looking at your food (and it looked good:-)) I wasn't sure if you were on target or not with points/calories.
rachaelm: It is good meet goals, isn't it?!
