Default Life in the Lifeboat - 10 days at a time #2

The original 100 days is over. There were a number of suggestions to break this in to smaller segments - so here we go!

Let's see how we can handle this 10 days at a time. This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support.

What's your plan for this 10 day segment?

OK - my plan will be no more than one meal out in this 10 days and to record each bite. I'll work on the exercise this time too!

I'm too busy to breathe some days and have gotten really off track. So for this 10 days, I will eat no food from a vending machine, and NO Halloween candy.

And if I could exercise 2ce, I'll take it. (A far far cry from where I used to be, but a girl has to start somewhere).

walking every other day,
watch my sodium intake and. . .
plan all my meals ahead of time.

Think I'll sit in the same seat as before. 10 days of journaling my meals and not using any of my extra WW points.

Hope we have calm seas and a steady journey.

Ok, I'm here for another 10 days!

The camping went well, but I only got a couple of nibbles on the fishing pole. Much fun was had by all. Yes, I took it easy.

The top of the fibroid was shaved and I had a D&C. I hope this resets stuff. The doc said my lining was really thick. I'll talk to her next week.

Hugs,
Ratkity

I got some exercise in yesterday too! Every bite recorded.

Question for you all - does the lifeboat help you or is it too much like the normal chat threads? Sometimes I feel like I post the same thing in both places.

Im here... had a busy weekend with the grandkids. Yesterday when they left I crashed on the couch for a much needed nap. My plan is to count and record each calorie. Stay away from diet soft drinks, they were slipping back in. Drink my full gallon of water each day. I am also going to try and walk for at least 20 min daily.

Carol,

Since most of us are from the same thread it can get repetitious, but it's a good reminder too, of sticking to the steps needed to reach a goal.

It's a short and sweet, kick start to my day.

Still rowing in calm water.

When we first started the 100 days, I found that having committed to posting either "I was POP today" or "I fell out of the boat" helped me stay focused. I like a place for accountability that is focused on that. Often in the other chat threads we chat about other things... which is fine... stress and life affect our ability to be POP, so we need to be able to talk about those things somewhere. But knowing that others are staying POP every day reminds me that I can and should do the same, and also keeps the thread very positive. So, yes, I think the thread has helped me.

In fact, I'm not sure I would have lost the last 10+ pounds without the lifeboat.

PS: So, thanks, Carol, for starting it! But are you feeling like it's just extra?

Angela
