Awesome day yesterday. I stuck to my menu plan and got a walk in.
Today will be a challenge as I am not allowed to take any naps (I usually take 2 during the day) due to I have to sleep at the hospital tonight for a sleep study. Wish me luck!
Question for you all - does the lifeboat help you or is it too much like the normal chat threads? Sometimes I feel like I post the same thing in both places.
We all can sound a bit repetative sometimes, but I like having a place to come to each morning and as long as my repetativeness is stating I had a good day, so be it. Keep it going Carol!
Personally I like the accountability and getting my goals for a 10 day segment out there but don't want people to feel like they are saying the same thing over and over. Let's see how it plays out.
45 minutes of yoga (slept great) and POP food day with each bite recorded. Doesn't get any better than that.
Ags - Yay for staying in the boat. And sneaking in the fitness is wonderful. Great job.
Vortex - glad to see you're keeping dry! Thanks for the encouragement. I'm trying to stay positive about this journey. I can't give up because I made a bad choice.
Learn - woot for 'Awesome' POP days!! I hope your sleep study goes well, sorry you can't nap today.
dgramie - Great job with the calories & the walking!! I really need a more structured plan for fitness on my days off.
gggirls - Woohoo, POP days! I like any thread that gets traffic in the 300+ section. I don't mind repeating myself. I just want to keep talking to you all!
j-ann - great job tracking your food! I know tracking has helped me become a lot more aware of what I was putting in my mouth.
Heather - I'm sorry you had a bad night. But you're back in the boat!! It's a new day & a new chance to succeed! I LOLd at vortex' comment about those kitchen sinks being bad for your digestive system.
I hope you are all in the boat today. It's a lovely day for a boat ride.
For the next 10 (now 8) days, I am going to stay on plan and exercise every day. No matter what. No excuses. I am just starting my weight loss and in the past, I have been successful and found it much easier to lose once I got through the initial week or two. I will stick to it with absolutely no excuses, so that the feeling of accomplishment I gain and the weight I lose will propel me to do more!
Yesterday was a goodun' I ate right and got some exercise doing housework. I also managed to avoid taking any naps yesterday so I would be extra tired for my sleep study. Well it didn't work, I only managed about 2 hours sleep, but it was determined that I do have sleep apnea. UGH! What a long night!
Also came down with my son's head cold so he and I will spend the day resting.
