A bit of a late response but I have a smaller backside and a bigger belly and these are the only panties I wear:

I tend to get solid colors, but they have funky patterns available if you're interested :P

Kohl's has Jockey brand, and since I'm almost all belly, I love them.

OK I can't believe im going to admit this but here I go...I am all belly and I have a very large stomach and the lovely hanging lower stomach apron and I wear JMS grannie panties and I wear them backward...yes I said backward lol. It felt weird at first but it works for me.

I'm shaped with same way, big belly in front, (relatively!) small in the butt and JMS panties are awful. I do much better with Hanes Her Way or Fruit of the Loom and I look for "stretch cotton" rather than just regular cotton.

Although I may have to check out Lane Bryant since they are getting so many good reviews here!!

OMG!!! I am SOOOOO very guilty of this!! Since 2008 I have had the same 6 pairs of XXL yoga pants from Old Navy. I am wearing a pair right now...I kept thinking, well my pants still fit, I'm sure I'm not gaining too much weight...That is how I went from an 18 to a 24/26...

I wore these panties years ago and loved them. http://www.justmysize.com/webapp/wcs...2_107941_13545 I couldn't find them in the store any longer. I tried other panties and never found anything that I liked. I have gotten rid of more brand new panties than you could ever imagine. Hate them all! I called JMS and told them about my problem. They said they still carried the panties that I wore and they had them online. I ordered them and sure enough they are the exact same ones that I wore in the past. As I lost weight, I didn't have to change sizes much because they really fit me well. Now, here is the funny thing, I am no longer a plus size, but I can still wear their panties in size 9. They are not too big or even loose. They are cotton stretch. Maybe that's why they fit. I still love them and will continue to order them for as long as I can. BTW: I am pear shaped. When I was much heavier, my stomach was very large.

Amen to both of these comments - I like cotton 100x better than anything else, AND I'm not afraid to go commando!

That said, I'm a big fan of cotton hipsters - I loved the Fruit of the Loom ones but have a hard time finding them in "huge belly and slightly bulbous butt" size.

Like I said, the jockey ones from Kohl's are pretty good. My belly is hangy and big, and they stay in place and actually cover it.

I like lane bryants hipsters a lot too. Unfortunately there are no lane bryants in Canada.
