TW: I order 5 dinners and lunches a week from a company in Florida called Healthy Chef creations. It isn't diet food but it is organic and nutrient oriented with about 200-250 cal lunches (usually salads or wraps) and about 450 cal dinners with a meat or veggie main and two veggie sides. - usually one starchy and one not. I get shipment once a week on Fridays. The meals are fresh, not frozen. And they are, in my opinion better than restaurant quality. Which is good because they are more expensive than restaurant meals too. But to me it is worth it bc they are so good and so convenient and they take the choice ours of it for me.
I like veggies, I do. But I don't like them enough to go out of my way for them. For years I've been saying I'd eat a lot more veggies if I had someone else to buy, prepare and put them in front of me. Well, now I do and it's great!
Probably the biggest thing I wish I could change (other than the price) is the wastefulness of all the packaging that is necessary to keep the food cool when shipped. But they know what they are doing. Even in the heat ths summer after sitting on my porch in the sun all afternoon, I haven't had any trouble with food temp. (and that would really stink after paying all that $$ to have spoiled food!
Wll, even though trop storm Don has been a dud ( just the tiniest bit of aib here this am), the weekend is off to a good start. I have already swum and am headed to breakfast and grocery shopping. I gotta get ready for my August wellness goal achievement!
