So you are - in giant letters!!! Welcome back Learn!

Hi all, sounds like everyone is doing fabulously well!! Snappy- very true about the journey - no one gives up half way through a journey, or gets to bend our of shape about a detour....so those types of thoughts do help to keep it all in perspective!
We are all going somewhere - all the good work we are adds up that's for sure - So let's try and enjoy the scenery.....
I am still Popping along - the days are passing, I am waiting for the next "body change" - hopefully by end of July I can throw away my size 26 work pants!

I am so jealous - I love strawberries!! Especailly locally grown ones...

Positive thought: ..Life's not about the steps you've taken but the footprints you've left behind

positive action: well my neighbor sent me home from babysitting because I am not feeling well due to TOM. So I think I am going to lay in bed and read a book.

Learn: WELCOME BACK DOLL!!!!

Lost: you can puree those strawberries and make popsicles...

Everybody else: I am hoping you have a good day.

Lynn

Hello All!
Yes I am back with a vengence! Ate a bit more then I should have, but I was on vacation and I was able to continue exercising in one way or the other. If I didn't walk I was able to swim. Even did a little hiking and got the sore knees to show for it. My WI day is sunday and I am waiting until then to see if there is any damage done.

Ags-

MrsTee- Can you not have strawberries on your eating plan? I know I avoid them due to the sugar in them.

Lynn- Oh no TOM is so evil! I hope you feel better.

Laura- We were not able to meet with Ags. It was just too far for her to drive and with her not feeling all that great lately I didn't want to push it. Plus my husband's vacation was cut short due to staffing problems at his store.

I'm not gonna even try to catch up with personals, so everyone else here's a great big HOLLA to ya! Missed my 3FC, heck missed the internet also.

I had a nice time in the mountains visiting with cousins. The fireworks we went to were shot off over Brevard College. They were beautiful. I got plenty of exercise even while traveling. Everytime we stopped at a rest stop I walked for 10-15 minutes to help keep my knees from aching too much.

I will post some pics a little later after I go through them and edit them. I hope everyone had a fantastic Fourth of July. Until later!

Learn - looking forward to those pictures and HOLLA back
Lynn - ugh, sister in T.O.M. hope yours eases up soon!
Mrs T: pre-congrats and the nearly there pants down-sizing!
Lost - mmmm strawberries! Don't you just love how they smell?
Laura - glad to hear you had a great day yesterday and hope today was swell as well
Kerri - I have this image of you doing a choco-chip cookie slam dunk into your co-worker's very large mouth hehehe

My positive for today was that I was brave and had dinner with a new man friend who I really like. It was so nice and now I can't stop smiling.

Hi all!!! Look forward to those pictures Lear, Hi Snappy and the L girls ( Laura Lost Lynn Looking) sounds like a rock band!

I love strawberries but they are out of season here - its winter - and imported ones are expensive and not great flavour! In summer I eat a heap of them if I can get nice juicy local ones.

Hope everyone is having a good day - I have been hungry all day! Just munchedd my way through a carrot to try to stave of the pangs until dinner - cold rainy weather just seems to make you hungrier!

Wow Sidanne! Congrats on the job AND the shrinkage! Nicely done
Hi Inked, nice to meet you
Laura, congrats on the scale victory!
Learn, nice pics, I like the waterfalls, but really like the bright colors on the flowers. Those are nice enough you could even print them and hang them on the wall.

Okay, my positive today is a big does of gratitude for knees which are kind enough to heal again even after I'm so terrible making them carry all this weight around! I am back up to .5 mile walking during the day at work, and tonight mowed the lawn for the first time in a couple of weeks... only 30 minutes or so and had to sit down a couple minutes after emptying the bag, but still I feel so much better for being able to move again.

I need to be brave again and I'm getting a little worked up and anxious about it. Monday I go to the gym for the first time. It's a 6 week cardio & conditioning class in a private room, separate from the rest of the gym, just 6 of us. I met with the trainer and she is going to modify things for me. I know this is the right thing to do. It will be good for me. I will feel better after doing it. And if I can stick with it long enough to get used to the new place and the new people I may even like it. I just need to not chicken out. Please send anti-chickening thoughts my way on Monday about 3:00.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Good Morning All,
Let me get to the important stuff. . . you gals and personals.

Ags- Love ya neighbor!

Snap- I am sending all the Anti-Chicken Out vibes I can muster up your way. This is gonna be a great positive thing for you. I think it's awesome that you'll be in a room with just 6 people. Sounds like just what you need. Keep us posted.

sidanne- Hot Diggity Dog a new job. Congratulations! A foot smaller, cute!

Ink- Again welcome back. So what's been going on in your life?

Lynn- The flowers are Day Lilies. I wanted to bring them all home, but unfortunately they wouldn't survive FLA. They need to be planted next to evergreen trees to survive. Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Laura- Just awesome, 2 pounds down!

MrsTee- I have been having those hungry days the last few days. I over indulged in some crackers yesterday and now I got some sodium/water retention issues this morning. It rained here all day yesterday I think my munching was boredom. Hang in there the cold weather won't last forever.

CJ- Missing you, how's NY?

Ona- Where are you? Miss you also.

I had a somewhat POP day yesterday. It rained all day so I wasn't able to get in the pool for exercise, but I did dance with my vacuum cleaner for about 45 minutes.
My eating was good except for some cracker issues. I planned for a small snack of crackers, but due to boredom I kept dipping my hand into the box. Today will be different since the crackers are gone and I have marathon shopping to do in the rain unfortunately. I put it off yesterday, but if I don't do it today we'll starve.

Well that's it for me. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend filled with POP choices.

positive thought: change is hard. you fight to hold on, and you fight to let go. but some of the most beautiful things are the product of change, take butterflies for example <3

Positive action: I don't have to babysit today so I think I am going to take the day and read and help my husband go through stuff in the garage.

To All Ladies:
I hope you have a wonderful day and keep smiling.

Lynn
