I think that's a great idea! It's a nice reward and at the same time, who doesn't want great pics with their loved ones? I think the only pics I have of my husband and I together are our wedding. Usually I dodge cameras like the might kill me or something and looking back I do regret it because there's only one day in pics for us to look back on and we've been together since 2002. Not to mention, you have an amazing smile and any pics you take, professional or otherwise, are going to be fab!!!

I know now that I am getting older because have routine before I get ready for bed. First I wash my face not with soap not with acne soaps or anything but with NOXZEMA!!! Come on I love the smell but my hubby doesn't and it makes my face feel so refreshed.

Hi everyone ... sorry I haven't been around much, things seem to pile up around me here (both literally and figuratively).

My weight is holding steady, I weigh myself about every other day to make sure. It is such a blessing to know that I can maintain at this weight without going nuts. I have had good intentions to start losing again, but so far they have remained just "intentions" and not "actions". My sweetie is headed up north in a few weeks and I'm staying down here to finish up some projects for about a month, so I suspect it will be easier to lose once he is gone. It would really be nice if I could show up in New York 10 pounds slimmer -- but honestly, he does not really seem to notice my weight much (which I prefer).

Anyhow, I miss you guys and am so glad you're here. Thank you! CJ

Good evening sweet potato pies,

It was a simply beautiful day here in Hampton, Va. and I have enjoyed it immensely. Great day at work and I even was able to hold my head up all day. LOL LOL Got all of my shopping done for the making of the Easter Baskets and 100.00 later, I still forgot the jelly beans!!! Go figure!!! I am so excited about making them, I still make them for all my girls, even though they are now 23, 25,27, and 37, can you believe that. They would have a living fit if they did not get one and then they have the nerve to brag about them to their friends. Can we sayed SPOILED!!!!!!

Well tomorrow is my day to meet STELLA!!!!! She said she has declared tomorrow as AggieDoddle Day!!!! Wow a day set aside just for me!!! Now just ain't I special, the cat's meow!!!

I made it to WI tonight and I was soooo happy, I have lost every single ounce of fluid I had gained, soooo I am exactly the same as before, 325!!!! Next week will be great becasue I am saying that it will!!!!

Blanche,
I wish someone could capture you and your merry band on film, I would love to see you in action!!! Stella and I will be meeting around 12:30, we are going to Red Hot and Blue for lunch and after that who knows!!!! Her hubby and mine will be there too. This is going to be so much fun!!!!
I think your plans for Easter are great, and the pictures is an outstanding idea, you will be so glad you did.
Let me now how that weigh in goes!!! I will be waiting!!!!

Lynn,
great idea on the picture idea. They will love them for sure!!!

Kayla,
that was my grand daughter McKenzie and she makes me smile every single time I look at her. I will post some pictures of My Malaki too, he is my grandson, and I love him to life. He has stolen my heart from the day he was born. That is the Japanese Maple in my front yard, I have an even larger one in my back yard and it is breath taking.
Once Mr Amazing leaves, enjoy your walk and then when he comes back, kick his amazing butt, on that WII!!! You rock chick!!!!

J,
you are just showing off staying out three nights in a row uuntil 1:00 am. But since you were with you sis, I will give you a pass.
I must say J, (why heck that rhymed), you are growing up inside and out. You are learning to forgive and that is one of God's many lessons. You cannot grow with malice or hate in your heart, but learning to forgive those who have hurt you is such a freeing experence. You have just earned a A+ in God's eyes and your heart just grew. I am so happy for you and proud of you. I love you girl!!!! I hope you get your Japanese Maple, it is so soothing to the eyes and shade it provides is so comforting and when the breezes are blowing, what a great place to be underneath that tree!!!!

Cj,
You always put a smile on my face when you pop in!!!! Hey when you are ready move on, you will, but right now hold the course and show maintaining who is the boss. Who's the boss? Why CJ is the boss!!! Don't miss your sweetie too much, you two will be back together in no time flat. Love you darling!!!

Carol,
sending you love and prayers!!!! Missing you!!!

That's it for this old girl, gotta get ready for tomorrow.

Hugs love and blessings,
remember to make every moment count,
Ags

Ahhhh, look at all the lovely people!

Lynn- The 8x10 was a wonderful idea. I'm sure they'll enjoy them. I haven't heard of Noxzema in ages, but I do remember the wonderful scent.

Kayla- Official Wii Fit score... Kayla- 100... Mr. Amazing- Zip, Zero, Nada!!! LOL!!!
I use to take pictures for a living, but you would never find me in front of the camera ever. I still feel a bit hesitant, but I've already got my husband committed to take them so I can't back out now.

J- Sorry the pool is not part of the package! LOL!!! You know the more I read your posts
the stronger a person I think you are. You have been through so much, but look at you now, you've survived it and are concentrating on yourself and making life better. Your post wasn't depressing at all and I'm glad I was here to listen (read).

CJ- I knew if I called you out, you'd come home for a moment. So glad your doing well and so happy your maintaining. That shows you know you can keep that weight off for ever.

Ags- Happy AggieDoodle Day!!! Congrats on getting rid of that darn water weight, now on to next thursday. Now I'm gonna try to send you a video "Hello" about 1 pm, so make sure your phone is on. Give Stella a hug for me, O.K.?

Well yesterday was another POP day. I tried out a new low carb salad recipe and it was fantastic. It's called "Big Mac in a Bowl" and yes it did taste like a McD's Big Mac, which is my favorite fast food from the past. Tonight I am trying out a new low carb chicken recipe, reviews tomorrow!
O.K. my official WI is sunday morning, but I do get on the scale every morning. It keeps me in line! This morning was fantastic! But I'll wait to tell ya'll on sunday morning.

O.K. I'm done, the coffee cup is empty, I must rectify this situation a.s.a.p.

I wish a POP day to everyone, enjoy yourselves!

Good afternoon ladies, how you're all doing well. I had a bit of a sleep in today and just woke up at 1:30. I only had 4 hours of sleep the night before because Lola kept waking me up every 5 minutes and after an hour of that I couldn't get back to bed. So I'm all caught up on sleep and ready to get my day going. I got my vitamins in today so I started up with the b-12 and biotin and I have enough of both for 2 months and hopefully by then I will have noticed a change in my hair and energy level.

Lynnie- I used to love noxzema as a kid. My sister used to keep hers in the fridge and during the summer if my skin was irritated from the sun (I've only ever had 2 burns, but I do peel sometimes) I'd snag hers. It drove her crazy because I'd always used way too much but I was like 8 and didn't know better. The smell isn't bad at all but it is potent. I used to 'borrow' her seabreeze too! She had the best stuff to play with and as an adult I completely forgot about those products! I loved today's positive and I think it's my favorite so far! Good luck Sunday, I'm sure it's going to be great.

CJ- Glad to see you're still maintaining! You know it's gone for good when you can hold it steady so that's amazing. Enjoy your alone time before you reunite with your other half. Use that time to get yourself together before going to New York and finishing your projects. Before you know it you'll be together again!

Ags- That is so sweet that you still make your girls baskets! When my nieces were younger I made them massive baskets every year and we would dye maybe 20 dozen eggs and have easter egg hunts all day long. I'd get the normal vinegar egg dye kits but then a bunch of the special ones too. Sometimes we'd even make cookies and have a family dinner, but usually it was my thing with my nieces. I miss it, but they're all older and don't really care about the holidays anymore. Congrats on the loss and I know this week will be great for you! Staying out until 1am isn't so bad when you only have to walk 290 steps from her front door to mine (I counted one of the nights I walked home) and it takes me less than a minute to jog back. It's not so bad, so no showing off here. I will get my tree someday, it's just a matter of time until we move. We had one down the street from us and every October it would turn blood red and drop these super tiny maple leaves. I loved walking by it every morning going to school. We had a normal maple tree in our front yard but it just wasn't as cool! I hope that you and Stella had a blast! Can't wait to hear about it.

Learn- I'm glad it didn't come off as depressing. It felt depressing to me, but maybe because I feel really bad about all of it. Thank you for your kind words. I don't really feel strong most days, but it must be in there somewhere if I've managed to lose some of this weight. Is it strength though, or stubbornness? I don't have the answer to that one yet. Your 'big mac in a bowl' sounds amazing. Congrats on this morning's unofficial WI and can't wait for Sunday!

Okay, so yesterday was a strange day. I have been eating the fiber one stuff for breakfast because I was having tummy trouble, but now I'm having the opposite tummy trouble. I feel wicked icky. Today isn't as bad as yesterday, the day before I was fine and Tuesday was the worst of the lot. I'm hoping it just me adjusting to new food and it levels out because... ick. I didn't want to work out because I felt miserable, but I did clean out my closet (and worked up a sweat while doing so) and was able to get 13 bags of clothes for my mom. I have like nothing left now but I wasn't going to wear any of it ever again so it's no big deal. It killed me putting stuff into bags that still had tags on them though! I loved my clothes, they we're cute... and better yet, I didn't pay full retail for any of them. I held up my old 32 jeans to me and ended up getting myself into one pant leg. Jerry said I should keep a pair for nostalgia but if my mom can get use out of them, I'd rather do that than have them sitting around. I don't think they'll fit her, I think she's a little smaller, maybe a 28, but we won't know til she tries them. Okay, so after the closet excursion I cleaned my bathroom and I counted 30 minutes of my day of cleaning as exercise since I was sweating like mad. I was really mad at my husband at the time so I was working at super speed and I imagine that's why. After I finished doing the bathroom I gave myself a mani and my sister called me from work. She has to sign people up for store credit cards and if she doesn't meet her quota she gets fired. I know, I used to work there, it's no fun, so I let her apply for me every 6 months. Well yesterday she put me in and I got approved so no more helping her out. Yay for me, not so yay for her. It will help in the future if I drop to a 16 or 14 and need new clothes, but I'm okay for now and won't be using it. My sister and I were making plans for Halloween the other night. No guys, I promise, it's not too early to talk about Halloween! I think I'm going to be a witch this year, I haven't had a proper costume in years and I'm so excited! We might be going to a party with my best friend, who is also a good friend of my sisters... almost like a 3rd sister if you will, and just have a girls night. I can't wait! It will be a fun way to spend my birthday too. I can't wait for Halloween! I know, I'm a major geek.
I'm going to try to get 90 minutes of exercise in today to make up for only doing 30 yesterday. I've got to get a move on and do that before this burst of energy leaves me. I'll be back around tonight and hope you all have a fabulous holiday weekend if you don't pop in before it's over.

Positive action: Its supposed to in the 60s today but stormy; so I will enjoy the warm weather even though I can't go walking.

Good morning my fabulous 3FC friends!
Gonna kinda keep things short. I was up most of the night with my pup Peanut. She had a tummy disturbance which kept me on my toes through the night. I am so glad she gets insistant when it comes to letting me know she has to go outside to go potty. In all her 1o years since being housebroken she has only had one accident in the house (about 7 yrs. ago) and that was right at the back door on the little rug we keep at the door.
She is feeling better now and insisted on her breakfast this morning. If she refuses to eat I worry, because she lives to eat.
Anyway I am seeing a nice long nap on my schedule for today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful POP saturday!

Good to see you CJ great job holding your weight

Kayla

So Yesterday i went to a Stations of the Cross re-enactment and it was so inspiring. There were about 50 people. We all walked around the neighborhood, singing designated songs, moments of silence when instructed.. while stopping at 15 different location( while the priest read what happened at that particular spot where Jesus stopped on his way to the Cross) switching to a designated Cross bearer for the next station. There was a van following us that was passing out water and for older people/any one who couldn't walk.It was so emotional to see some older people on their canes, get out the van just to participate at a station then get back in the van

And out of all the people, the organizer came up to ME and asked would i carry the Cross at station 7 (while everyone was waiting in the sanctuary for it to start ) how could i say no I said i never did this before But she explained and it wasn't so hard. The TV news crew were there, police escorts and men to stop the traffic. We walked about and 1 and 1/2 so it wasn't so bad. I've been singing those songs in my sleep at the track it was very nice

Then last night,I could only make one communion Service.I was torn cause i like to support all my family members when they are have something at their church but i can't be everywhere at once Forgot to add,I wore a beautiful white suit last night yes!!! white My Brother called Mother last night(after they got home) and said that my suit was really fitting me and looked good

Have a wonderful Resurrection Sunday, positive people

Hello ladybugs,

It is a wonderful day here in Virgina, both Son and Sun are shining brightly today and the weather is warm and the breeze is phenomenal. I am vasting in it all.

My outing yesterday was just the best. Meeting Stella face to face was as exciting and fun as I knew it would be. When she walked in the door, I knew just who she was. I think the folks in the restuartant thought we were long lost familly that had not seen each other since the beging of time or something. She is such a pretty thing with those pretty green eyes and guess what I have green eyes too. Our boys hit it off right away too, they both are talker, both are truckers, and both are lookers, easy on the eyes if you know what I mean.

The plan was for lunch and then who knows....but I swear I think we bought stock in Red Hot and Blue yesterday cause we totally lost track of time, we were there for at least four to almost five hours just running our mouths about eveything under the sun. We left no stone un turned and we even made a hello video for Blanche that was funny and Blanche-pooh had already sent us one. Now I gotta be truthful here, I ordered the five meat platter, which consisted of pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, spicy sausage, and ribs, with sides of potatoe salad, baked beans, but I, little ole me, only ate the 1/4 portion of pulled chicken and pork and half of the sausage. I did eat the potato salad and 3 spoonfuls of the beans. The rest went in a doggie bag, which later I ate the other half of the sausage and everyone else ate everything else. I was so pround of myslef, cause as I told daddy, I remember the day when I would have belonged to the clean plate club before I left there. Yes darlings, I am learning and I am growing!!!! It was a special day and now I plans to try to get to NC in July for a second visit. I tell you her accent was just what I thought it would be and they both are a hoot and put that together with daddy the comedian, well you can only imagine. WE talked about everything from A to Z and even farts........can you believe it,......Blanche I know you know I can. IT was needless to say a stellar kinda of a day. We had planned to do other stuff but it was starting to rain by the time we left the restaurant so we parted and went our separate ways but holking them close to my heart. We took pictures and I am almost sure the waiters appalauded as we left!!! hahahhahahaha Guess the evening rush was about to happen!!!!

I see you all have been doing well and let's see............who will be next on my list.........cause one never ever knows!!!!!!!

Daddy is cooking today and the house smells divine!!!!!! He got the recipe for a Barbeque Pork Roast out the an old Southern Living cook book we have had for years and he is roasting red potatoes that were drizzled in olive oil, garlic, onion, pepper and dill weed and now that the potatoes are almost done he poured just a little of marinate from the roast over them and he just let me taste one....talking about good healthy flavorful eating today, well need I say more!!!!

It will be another healthy meal tomorrow, ham, cabbage and boiled potatoes. Yep, I gotta get this thing and do it first, cause if I don't I am only hurting myself!!!! Sooooooo I am off, might check back in later....

Oh Ona, you were posting as I was typing. OHGravy, as STELLA would say!!!!! She is one heck of a sweetheart!!!!!! Funny, and so down to earth. I told her, she did not know she was meeting a old hen, that I would be 59 in Aougust, and she said to me, no way, you sure don't look it. I told her thank you for being so kind, and she said it was true, she made my day and honestly knowing Stella, I don't think she would have said it, if she had not meant it. True and not pre-tend as you say,!!!! Ona, you would love her and I know Blanche will feel the same way when she meets her this summer. Oh man oh man, I am trying to be there for that too!!!!

I did forget to say, you all always hear me say, that when I get home from work, I usually don't come back out until church time or time to go to work on Monday. Well this was soooo refreshing getting out and having fun. Things I miss so much, but this is the start of something big, no turning around for me. I gotta live and live this life of mine to the fullest, when I die there will be no regrets here!!!!!!

Hugs love and blessings,
making every moment count,
Ags

Here you go Ona! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
This is one serving and about 5 net carbs.

Big Mac in a Bowl

Ingredients:
½ lb. Ground beef (I used 90/10)
Salt & Pepper to taste (SPTT)
1 tsp. Dry minced onion
1 slice Colby/Jack Cheese, torn into small pieces
2 Dill pickle spears, Chopped
2 tbsp. Smokey 1000 Island dressing (I couldn't find smokey, so I use a low fat reg. 1000 island instead)
1 ½ oz. lettuce, torn into bite size pieces

Directions:
In a skillet over medium high heat brown and crumble beef, SPPT. Drain off any fat.
Meanwhile add a small amount of water to the dryed minced onion to hydrate.
In a large salad bowl add torn lettuce, pickle and hydrated onions, toss.
Top with broened beef and toss.
Top with cheese pieces, toss.
Drizzle with 1000 island dressing.
