Default 300+ Wellness Goals Challenge-January 2011

Here's how it works: Everyone of us has wellness goals. Break those goals up into small, achievable steps and challenge yourself to meet your goals by the end of the month. They can be a number of pounds lost; please keep it reasonable and safe, dietary goals, goals to change your mindset, etc. There is already a 300+ Monthly Exercise Goal so we won't do exercise goals here.

Let's all support and encourage each other on this life long journey. Don't get discouraged if you don't meet your goal, just keep on challenging yourself.

You can join at any time.

This website might help you WITH GOAL SETTING: http://www.goal-setting-guide.com/se...s/goal-setting

Remember goals should be...
■S = Specific
■M = Measurable
■A = Attainable
■R = Realistic
■T = Timely

Whoever wants to reach a distant goal must take small steps.

I would also like to have no soda for 30 days.
I also need to work on journaling every day.

Helloooo Ladies!

Here I am, again! Hehe. I gotta get back on track with my goals. I think I didnt get a single one, I had last month, but I figured I am putting them to high, cause I'm not in my first months of losing weight anymore, I wont lose 10lbs a month anymore and if I do, I'll be glad, but we gotta go slooow!
So here are my personal goals:

-trying out at least two new exercises that I enjoy
-eat two times a week low carb/carbfree Lunch
-lose weight!

Aiight! I like the eating stuff, shows me how different it is from germany! Ill try to let you know what I eat aswell, but yesterday I had my last "bad eating day" so I dont really wanna tell you! Haha. But tonight I will post, if I remember!

Hugs,
Anne

(1)By June 30th - A 42 pound loss
(This means I have to aim for 2lbs a week-8lbs a month loss)

I am also challenging myself to get some form of exercise 5 days a week. Start with 10mins and work up to 35mins.

Wishing everyone success!

Rainbow: Thanks! I found her on the site. She makes me feel like I am making forward progress

Risen: I missed my goal yesterday as well. I wanted to stay under calorie limit...and I did till evening and then had a really, really hard time. I had some dessert which I *thought* was in my calorie range...but turned out I underestimated the calories. Then I had a bag of popcorn and a slice of summer sausage. :sigh: not a very auspicious first day to my goals.

Here are my meals for today. I added in a large snack just for those evening munchies that are starting to get to me.

B: 2 pieces toast, 1 T jam, 1 oz cheese, 1 tangerine
281

L: grilled cheese sandwich, 1 c tomato soup
312

D: ham tetrazzini, 2 c brocolli
554

Snack: 4 c raw cauliflower, 6 T fat free ranch
207

Total for the day: 1354
