(I posted this to the minigoals forums by accident, I meant to post it here)
I've been on this journey for almost a year now. It's been pretty tough, but not any tougher than hiding inside myself.
I started out at about a size 32/34 at 409lbs, now I'm a size 26 at 249lbs. WOOT! YEAH! I can buy clothes at the walmart!
Here's my new pictures: MY KNEES TOUCH!
I just want to say to people out there who are trying, and feel like it's hopeless, it's not. Go outside, even if at night, and walk a mile around your house! Or pace in the living room! Anything to keep moving, if you don't stop you'll get there eventually. Sometimes you will hit a brick wall, but just keep on going. That wall can't stay up forever. And you don't need surgery, or a fancy plan! If it comes in brightly colored packaging, don't eat it. If it's saltier than you are after walking, don't eat it. Love you all, I'm going to bed. Sorry if this was a ramble.

Reason: My second picture freaked people out for suggestions of domestic violence. Sorry about that.
This may be none of my business but the second picture on your post is a bit disturbing... It looks like your husband is mimicing holding a gun up to your head and strangling you. Please, please, please, if you are in an abusive reationship get help, reach out here, PM someone or contact a shelter.
I agree with the poster above with the 2nd picture's creepy factor (the guy with his arm around your neck and finger gun)... and you don't look like you're enjoying it if it's a "joke." I almost didn't say anything, since I know it's hard to accurately "read" since we don't know you or him personally, but if you need us, we're here.
Hey guys. About my before pictures, the one with the gesticulation of a gun. I'm not in an abusive relationship of any sort, he was just joking because he had to hold me still for my mother to get the picture, and I was upset there was a camera. I'm not in any danger, I just thought it was a funny picture for comparison. But I come from a younger generation with a... strange sense of humor. Sorry you guys didn't think it was funny!
