Thumbs up Calling you out!! 300+ chicks and roosters

Alright everyone, I'm calling you out. I see many of my fellow beloved 300+ family members posting in the various threads but sadly I don't see you regularly or if at all in the excercise thread. I think we should try to break the record for each month this year and for the total overall. I'm afraid some of you might be embarrassed because maybe you can only do 5 or 10 minutes at a time, compared to the 60 minutes a day some of us do, but if you do 5 minutes 4X a week, that's 20 minutes right there, 20 minutes a week times four weeks in a month, that's 80-well over an hour. Being here is a great thing, I agree. You find support, encouragement, and laughter but we each must also have accountability and the feeling we are contributing to a greater purpose. (and I speak for myself as well) Right now we are sitting at 7,782 minutes for the month, way under the total minutes from last year for January of 19,474. If we each contribute, no matter how large or small, we can do this and blow the number of 19,474 out of the water!!
I look forward to seeing you all posting there.
All my love,
Sweetcakes736
Faith

I'm just seconding Faith's post! We have a mighty goal to reach this year, and all of us benefit from exercise (individually and as a group).

Many of you may not know this, but I hate to exercise. Setting these monthly goals is a KEY of my success!!!

Thanks Heather, I know we can all do this, we have a great group of people here and if we each contribute a little every day, we'll be breaking records left and right.

I am interested but being new I just sort of ignored it cause the members all seem to know each other until I get used to it here.

If you all want I will jump in at the end from now on and add my 5-30 min in when I can. What do I do...just go to last post and say "I did 30 min today" or what?

oneless-welcome, I'm so glad you're here. Don't worry about being new, it's incredible how fast you'll feel like family. You can make a personal monthly goal is you want, some people do that, some people don't, it's totally your choice on what you're comfortable with.

Heather explained how it works best:
To keep track, just add your minutes to the existing group’s minutes. If you’re new, look at what other people are doing – it’s pretty easy to figure out! To help everyone keep things straight, please note the OLD minutes and the number of NEW minutes you are adding, such as
Group total ~ 500 + 50 = 550 minutes

And that's it, it's that easy. I look forward to seeing you on the excercise thread. Don't forget to contribute your 30 minutes to our total, it's amazing how fast it adds up. If you need help or have a question, feel free to send me a message, I'd be more than happy to help you in anyway I can.
