I will likely call today another rest day. My knee is feeling better...I'm planning a 20 mile bike ride tomorrow so I've been really giving it a chance to get ready.

Newbie here,

Hope I read enough of the thread to post this correctly. Found you guys half way through the month but I've been tracking my activity over at LiveStrong so here goes:

My goal for exercise in November was one hour per day, 5 days per week for a total of 1200 minutes.

One for every 100 minutes:

As of November 14, 2009 I'm at 750 for the month which includes daily dog walking, strength training about 2 - 2.5 times per week and hiking with my daughter occasionally for good measure.

My favorite strength training body weight exercise are the plank exercises by Lauren Brooks (YouTube, Lauren Brooks, plank, pregnancy recovery) and weighted is RKC Kettlebell lifting, doing swings or Tabata Thrusters.

Personal: 750/1200
Group Total: 5,770 + 750 = 6520

Went to bed content and then woke up with right elbow pain that was an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. I seem to have slept wrong (?). The pain was so severe, I worried it was cardiac for a few minutes. After I figured out how to get up and get moving, I did my Z-Health drills to realign my spine and I think I'm alright now. Took hours of doing small movements with rest breaks to reduce the pain, I'm just grateful it is so much better.

Tomorrow I'll see my Kettlebell/Z-Health instructor, Jen Waak of Move Fit Fun (dot) com, and if she can't show me how to restore it to 100%, I'll go see my physician. Thinking that injury only means I train a different body part as opposed to not at all, I cleaned my kitchen left-handed (tough since I'm right-handed) and walked the dog. I also cooked for the cat and dog. Just learned that pumpkin settles the cats stomach after shedding season. First time in my life I've made a pumpkin garlic omelet...the cat ate every drop.
