I am having problems on here today, the server is too busy!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hope you are all enjoying your holiday and the turkey! yummy!

Its just an ordinary day here and a very dark one at that!

CJ, have a safe journey and I hope you've hit that goal!

Learn, I just love your Christmas countdown Im Christmas crazy, I have all the presents for our little man wrapped and hid away already! And today Ive made the list of the extra cleaning things I need to get done. I hope you have enjoyed your cooking today and the extra time with your family.

Ags, I hope you are feeling a bit more comfortable in the knicker department today, sounds rather unpleasant.

GGGirls, hope the medication is helping your ear infection now.

Well for me:

Today, so far so good! Well under my allowance so far but I always try to leave room for some evening munchies. Im really missing my gym at the moment but hopefully will be back there Sunday at the latest. I gave myself a nasty sprained wrist and pulled some other arm muscles in the process

My little man is doing so well. He is putting on some weight which Im thrilled because he couldnt afford to loose any at all.His eating is really improving every day

And I can truely say, today is the first day for a while that I woke up happy, nothing to worry about. Fantastic!

Well here it is 9:15 at night and I am finally able to get on this forum. It's getting pretty darn frustrating!

See Ya!

Hi all!

I know others have mentioned it, but man I've had a tough time getting on here. Hope the problem is going to stay fixed.

This has been a good week for me. Last Tuesday I really hit the wall...hit a very low spot with depression, ate a ton of bad food, and drank a bunch of rum. By last Thursday I decided I desperately needed to get back on track. Since then I've been to the gym about 5 times, doing cardio and weights. I am going to the gym tomorrow morning and I'm praying the scale says 170. That is my Thanksgiving/Reunion goal. The reunion is Saturday. Yes, I indulged in Thanksgiving food today, but I kept things much more reasonable than I normally would have. I feel good about it.

Hope everyone is doing well on this holiday evening. Looks like we're almost there on the 500 post scale. When you create the new thread, PLEASE spell "today" instead of "toady"...LOL. I'm sorry..I'm sure that sounds picky...(Blame it on my OCD)

Good night all.

Another drive-by - the internet here blows and I cannot stay connected.

My positive is that I am getting to spend time with my grandma. Especially with everyone I have lost over the last three years it is more important to me than I could have ever previously realized.

Hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving! Enjoy the weekend!

Happy Black Friday,
For me today is a day to hibernate and avoid driving all together. My mother worked for Walmart for 16+ years and all I heard was 16+ years of horror stories.
I do hope that everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving full of wonderful food, family and friends.
As most of you know 3FC was just a big headache yesterday, not allowing most of us to post. Hopefully they fixed the problem, otherwise I may be posting for nothing.

CJ- I hope you made it safely to NY and you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.

Ags- I read what your DH & you were cooking on facebook and who you were feeding. You & yours are just the most wonderful people. Feeding all those Navy folks who could not be with their loved ones for Thanksgiving. Thank you!

gggirls- Right back at cha baby! I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful.

Sara- So happy your little man is feeling soo much better and your starting to feel better emotionally. Worrying about sick ones and trying to keep the balance up at home can be so emotionally draining. I have my guys presents hidden, but not wrapped yet. Of course I'm not done with his christmas list yet either. It's a never ending list.

Kat- Welcome back girl. Now please don't stay away so long, I missed you. How was your Thanksgiving?

nooch- How is NY? Enjoy every moment with your Grandma. How was your Thanksgiving?

As for me my slow cooker Thanksgiving was a success, but the big hit was my son's dessert he made. He made a Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake that was out of this world. It was a Paula Deen recipe, so you can bet it truly was gooey and buttery.
I enjoyed the fruits of my labor, my mom enjoyed her surprise guest, and my puppy enjoyed anything that dropped on the floor. She especially loves the carrots. I invited an old neighbor over that had moved away about 4 or 5 years ago. My mom is quite fond of her and she lives alone, so I thought she could visit with mom and keep her occupied and out of the kitchen.

Here is my quote of the day...

"Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So... get on your way!"

Ladies have a wonderful day and remember...

ONLY 29 MORE DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!

Later - Learn
