Default Well.....I've taken the first step on my journey...yay!!!

Good Evening Ladies! I hope everyone had a wonderful day today! I went to the grocery store today and cleaned out my fridge and pantry. As of tomorrow I am starting my calorie counting adventure. Can't you tell I'm excited?? I am however, looking forward to starting my walking agian. I pray that I dont start coughing up a lung and have to stop. My dr gave me the go ahead to start walking again at a slow pace bc of this stupid respiratory virus that I have... UGH! I'm so ready to go full force and kick it into gear! I dont have mucg time before I have to start trying on wedding dresses. I'm trying to hold off on that b/c I just dont want to become overly depressed and get into a slump. So....I am going to wait till May to start trying on dresses....... Doesnt mean I cant look though!! Time to go watch Biggest Loser.. Tata for now....

Hope everyone has a great night!!

Don't forget to mix it up. I see you're excited about walking which is awesome, but what about some weight training and yoga or stretching? When you keep your excercise routine varied it helps to steer away feelings of depression.

Brilliant!

I second the weights! I love going to the gym, I never thought I would be able to enjoy any sort of exercise that much! It really helps your muscles tone up too, and Ive really noticed my body shape has changed a bit because of it.

What sort of dress do you fancy?

Good for you for getting started!

Walking is great exercise . . . I started out with walking as my primary exercise also.

Well, walking is all that I am allowed to do right now. Once my respiratory virus is gone, I can do whatever. And with the walking, it cant be fast paced yet. Which sucks, but i guess in the end, if my Dr says I have to wait, I guess I have to wait : (

Ummmm....Lets see.... there is this one dress that I really like at Davids Bridal, and i can't wait to try it on, but i am scared to dealth to try it on bc I will be so depressed if it makes me look like a barrel. I have not worn any type of dress or skirt since I was about 16....so really in 10 years But anyway, if you want to see what it look like, just pull up davids bridal and put in item #9V9010

Let me know what ya think!

Ohh thats gorgeous! I especially love the little sleeves on it. Really pretty!

I had a Benjamin roberts dress http://www.benjaminroberts.co.uk/classic_collection.htm, no 802, in white.

I found when I was looking that the sort of dress I wanted didnt look good at all. Just be willing to try on different styles and you will find something perfect that gives you the biggest smile!
