I have 2 bassets, a basset/beagle ("bagel"), and shared custody of a bloodhound/lab mix and a Treeing Walker Coonhound.

Sachiko,

So sorry you are going through so much right now. But that strong determined woman who posted those pics is still there.

Unleash her! And know that you have inspired alot of women to get over their fear, shame, loathing and general denial of their bodies. I am now looking forward to taking my before pics with my new camera I got for Christmas! Now I wont commit that I will post them here, but I will post them on my fridge and my treadmill.

Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us!

I am very glad to hear that you sought therapy for your daughter. It can make a huge difference. Like weight loss, mental health is a journey (but with less measurable milestones) and she will need lots of support that I am sure you will give her. Like a previous poster said, when you take care of yourself, you are better able to take care of others. You will have more energy and your mental balance will be a role model to her. Not to be too invasive, but I would imagine that a few sessions may be helpful for you as well. Dealing with all that you have, it might be a good idea to talk to someone on a professional level.

Keep going - you can do this!! Make that your mantra - I. Can. Do. This.

We will be here to cheer you on!

sachiko - You can do this I don't think I would've been brave enough to post such revealing before photos of myself.
