Cool weight loss in face?

For those out there who have lost some weight, can someone please tell me how many pounds they lost when they started noticing it themselves in their face? I want my fat face to dissapear!

It's different for everyone I bet, I started at 379 and finally noticed about 20 pounds ago, but you see yourself everyday in the mirror and don't notice a gradual change. (at least I don't) My kids and friends noticed long before I did.

Everyone sees changes at different points. What I would suggest doing is start taking pictures now. I waited until 369 to take body shots and now I really do wish I'd taken them when I started. I don't see any real changes until I go and look at the pictures I've taken. Strangely I see more changes in the face shots than the body shots. Although if I look at my face shots at 331 and 293 I really only see the tan as the difference. (http://3fatchicks.com/diet-blogs/realcdn/pictures/)

If you do take back/front/side views make sure you resize them so they are the same when you compare them.

I can see it in my face now, after 12.
I can't see it in my body but my shirts fasten better!

No-one's commented yet. I remember the last big weight loss (the last one before this one, cos this Will be The Last!!), I'd lost about 50lbs and one old lady came up to me and told me that I was looking good, because black was so slimming.....
I forgave her, eventually!

DH and I lost weight together. His face/neck became so thin he looks gaunt while my face took longer to show the loss and since I have a round face and bigger head my losses are not as noticable. BUT I'm not this huge moon face anymore so I'm happy with what I've accomplished. I think you have to lose between 20 and 50 lbs (depending on your beginning weight) for things to start to show and make a real difference.

That is a month and a half and a fluctuation between 10 - 14 pounds. I mean the difference is apparent but not drastic. I can tell the difference in my complexion, the weight closing in my eyes, how round my face is.

Forgive the wicked goofy face lol. I needed something spunky for my myspace page.

HI Luvja,

I started at 192 and I'd say that family noticed a difference in my face at around 180-- so, a twelve pound loss... I do carry it in my face too, so I know exactly what you're talking about. though, as said before, I think you're very pretty! But I understand completely what you mean.

I probably noticed at 180 too-- but, didn't feel 'confident' about that change until I hit a eureka-- at around 175. then I really noticed it in my bridal shower pictures. I still have a little ways to go here, but I'm hoping its even more noticible when I hit goal...

I've lost almost 40 pounds. I haven't myself noticed it in my face visually, but I can feel that my chin is thinner (my hereditary double-chin that will never entirely go away). Last week a co-worker asked me if I'd cut my hair; I hadn't, and I assume what she was really noticing is that my face looks a little different.

So I think it doesn't take that much, but it's not necessarily a drastically huge change at first, either.

People and myself can tell a difference at 20 pounds. My face is actually the first place I lose it. strange, I know.
