I had a chuckle at my job today...thought I'd pass it on. We were finishing a LONG hearing and the following exchange took place:

Me: I believe I now have heard all the evidence and have verified your addresses. Is there anything else?

Defendant: Are we still under oath?

Me: Yes.

Defendant: Bummer.

Me: Why? Did you want to lie about something?

At least it tickled me!
