Well, I feel like the oddball here, but I'll add mine for yesterday as well. Mine is an estimate as I don't measure the water at dinner (but I know roughly what I take). It's likely 6 or 8 ounces low, so it will do.
160oz yesterday
Group total 138 + 160 = 298
Oh, I was going to add something. Perhaps just for fun we could add a few milestones along the way. So it doesn't feel like we'll never get there. Things like (just off the top of my head):
- bathtub (I know these go about 100 gallons to the top so 12,800 ounces)
- wading pool (6' - 42,880 / 7.5' - 67,840) - from
http://www.siouxsteel.com/LvstkWadingPool.htm
- hot tub (7x3 - 76,800 / 7x3.5 - 96,000 / 7x4 - 107,520) - from
http://www.mainecedartubs.com/facts.htm
- above-ground pool (for when we need it
http://www.soncopools.com/pools_aboveground.htm)
- in ground pool (worked out ours - 1,250,000 ounces)
(or something like that)
Oh - and one more fun fact - The Handbook of Chemistry and Physics specifies the weight of 1 US gallon of water in air at 68 degrees F to be 8.32487 pounds. (You see various numbers, I just picked this one at random.)
