It would be hard for me to answer this question, seeing as how before I don't think I ever wore the right shoe size. I usually wore a 10M, but probably really needed a 9.5W (which isn't readily available, so I had to compensate). I do know that in early March I bought some really comfortable casual shoes that fit perfectly. They some how floated to the back of the closet and so I didn't rediscover them until I tried to wear those same shoes this past Monday and they were too big and rubbed blisters all over my feet... and it's not like they had gotten stretched out from me wearing them a whole lot either.
I've gone from a 9.5 W to 8.5 W. I'm still hoping to ditch the wides when I hit goal. Seems unlikely though, I just have broad "peasant" feet, nothing dainty about them.
Interesting! Never thought you would lose shoe sizes.
Ironically, my skinniest part of the body are my feet, so I really dont see me losing any sizes at all. Which is a pity. I got all excited thinking I could lose my 13W. damn.
I think I have trotters not feet. I take a UK 4.5 which is a US 6.5. My feet are nearly as wide as they are long! I wouldn't mind losing some width (which I think I will as I used to be a normal fitting) but don't want to be any smaller than I am.
