Thanks, everyone! So far I've got the scale to inch down 2 pounds, so it's working!

I have to try on those size 12s in my closet -- last time I checked I could get them on and zip em up -- JUST. I wouldn't leave the house in em. Hopefully a few more pounds and I'll be there!

Heather...it's fun to dream about the days when just a handful of pounds will make the difference in entire sizes fitting or not. Thanks for letting us do that vicariously through you.

Way to go on the 2 pounds...that's a big deal!

I know! It really is a whole different thang! When I started, I don't remember how many pounds I had to lose to go down a size!!! 20? And now 7 pounds makes a difference?

Apparently, not only is it OUR size that makes a difference (20 pounds was a smaller 20% of my overall weight then), but the actual difference between sizes in misses is smaller than that in women's. I think I heard that in women's clothes there's a 2 inch difference in waist sizes, but in misses only 1 inch? Or, maybe that is about our size?

I dunno about that, all I DO know is there's a lot of clothes in my closet I want to fit!
