I am really going to try to get on this and get at least 5 hrs of aerobic a week. Does yoga count? Feels good, but very "sedentary".

Wink

20 mintues of rollerblading for me. I was online and said you know I am just going to go put them on. And I did. I just skated and talk to the neighbors for about an hour. But only counting 20 min. cause it was a lot of stop and start.

Baliey-any form of excerise for 20 min counts. So just post your time daily or weekly or whenever you want.

I should have said that I will start on Tuesday which is my weigh in day. Put on another pound (but I know why and it's gotta stop!!)

4th - walked 1 mile

Do I need to post each exercise activity separately or can I just keep editing this post everytime I do something new?

Talking HELLO SORE MUSCLES!!!!!

BFB: You can do it however you want. You can post it together...all at once or edit your post. I will go back and count up and just make a grand total at the beginning of the new week. So what ever makes your heart happy!!!

For me today I did 2miles of rollerblading and .5 miles walking. My friend, her baby and B and I all went. The baby strollered, mom pushed. B walked and I bladed. But the best thing about it was I have never gone this far and I did it. I did not think I could on the street ( I was on the sidewalk) but I was always afraid of falling or people saying look at the fat girl on wheels. But my friend said you can do it and I did. I took off my blades at 2 miles cause I was pretty worn out and I want to do it again. And I will on Thrus. But I have a long walk to and from the school tomorrow. But for now I am pretty damn proud. I now have to get that darn eating under control.

5th Sept - 1 mile of walking
7th Sept - 1 hour inlining in Hyde Park
8th Sept - 1 hour skating lesson

Pyria - way to go with the blading. I am trying to get out again this week, but the weather has not been too good. I am a learner and am taking lessons, but not confident enough to go out when the park is wet. I can fall fast enough when it's dry

I am trying to get back into the Tae-Bo - I have three tapes sitting on the video looking at me

Well,

The good news is BFB did not actually come over to give me a good old fashioned butt kicking. The bad news is that, although I did yoga monday and tuesday, I have done NO aerobics and nothing else all week!!! I really need a plan, so here it is:

Goals:
1) Burn Fat
2) Increase Flexibility
3) Increase Muscle (how sad, not only do I not have any, I can't even spell it!

To achieve Goals:
1) Aerobics (work up to 5X/Week)
2) Yoga (5X/week)
3) Weights (3X/week)

Yoga will be the easiest for me, so I will start there. My usual baseline is 0-2 workouts per week, and I am trying to get up to 13 SO I will simply try to add 1 per week.

Workout Goals by week (starting 9/9):
Week 1: 2 Yoga, 1 Aerobics
Week 2: 3 Yoga, 1 Aerobics
Week 3: 3 Yoga, 2 Aerobics
Week 4: 4 Yoga, 2 Aerobics
Week 5: 4 Yoga, 3 Aerobics (hope I am in shape enough to start weights!)
Week 6: 4 Yoga, 3 Aerobics, 1 Weights
Week 7: 4 Yoga, 4 Aerobics, 1 Weights
Week 8: 4 Yoga, 4 Aerobics, 2 Weights
Week 9: 5 Yoga, 4 Aerobics, 2 Weights
Week 10: 5 Yoga, 5 Aerobics, 2 Weights
Week 11: 5 Yoga, 5 Aerobics, 3 Weights

If I follow this plan, I will be doing all 13 by the week of 11/18/01. HOWEVER, since I have been known to be a "slacker" , I will Say that I want to be doing all 13 by my Birthday (1/24). Ugh, this sounds hard.
