I started a new shift and am having trouble getting to the gym on my work days. But diet has been my biggest issue. Veggies were giving me major tummy trouble so i started eating junk because I was tired of having to run to the bathroom 10 times a day. Dont understand how my stomach can tolerate doritos better than carrots...but oh well.
My goals next month are gonna be more nutrition focused than a number and finding ways to incorporate exercise. We bought a puppy....so mandatory walks!

I hate how much of a battle it was just to lose a couple of lbs. TOM weight came off fairly quickly the 2nd time around, so I'm hoping that means I will have better results in August. My arms are looking more toned, legs too, but the loose skin on the thighs is starting to annoy me. It doesn't look that bad, but I personally don't care for the extra jiggliness even if they are smaller. I wonder what my figure would look like at this size if I had not been obese my whole life.

Circa I get it. I want to aim for 169.8 so badly, but with less weight to lose it's hard for me to cut enough calories to make that happen and still keep up my strentgth training goals. So if I can hit 160s by my anniversary in late august I'll be happy

Haven't checked in for a while but this thread will help me be accountable. I have a feeling this month is gonna be tough since I'm starting it out sick. I never know if it's better for me to rest or workout. I'm gonna only give myself until Saturday to rest. Anyway I only weigh in on Saturdays. Starting weight on June 28th=282. goal weight=275
6/28=282
7/4= 294 how does somebody gain 12 pounds of water weight in 1 week? I presume that is what this is. I've been in bed and eating salty soup, drinking water and powerade for the last couple of days since being sick. This makes me so sad. I guess I have to work extra hard. 275 seems impossible right now. I think I'm gonna cut out my Sunday cheat days this month or something. Somebody please give some insight or support something. I'm feeling very defeated

Already am. I lift weights three days a week. Including squats (can now do 90 lbs). Dead lifts, chest press, shoulder press, lat pull downs, sit ups. Etc.
2 days a week, I spin, swim or elliptical. That's about all I can muster for the week with my schedule.

I'm aiming for 20% body fat. Not so much a scale number anymore. I'm supposed to be able to schedule one at my gym after the 8th so fingers crossed I'm close. The online measurement guesstimates put me somewhere between 26 and 29%.. Hopefully the real thing is close to that.

** well after a jog with the pup this morning and my aerobics class I managed to sweat out 3 pounds of water. I guess wonton soup can no longer be my go to sick food. Its so comforting when I am ill though. Oh well. I am gonna try and sweat more of this unwanted water out of me tomorrow during my jog and aerobics class and then on Monday during my soccer game**

Kiwi, are you feeling better? That's most important. I bet if you eat lots of fresh foods it'll fall off pretty fast. Even if it's not all water weight, you're aware of it and are making the changes today, which is really the hardest part of the battle! Being sick sucks!!! I'm glad you're on the mend
