Default Whole 30

Hi All!

This is my first time posting on this section of the forum.

A little bit about me... I got to my lowest weight of 170 in 2010 when i was on Ideal Protein. The program's cost started to become too much and i transitioned to Weight Watchers. I lost 3lbs and then plateaued. Needless to say, i just stopped doing anything and have gained everything back plus 40lbs.

As of this morning, i started the Whole 30 program. I'm extremely optimistic and am hoping this lifestyle change is what's going to help me shed all the weight i've gained.

Anyone else following this program or another paleo/clean eating program?

I have heard of whole 30, it sounds like a great start for weight loss! I am currently preggo but when I have the baby I plan to do weight watchers with clean eating as much as I can. I'll probably do mostly protein shakes in the mornings and salads for lunch, fruit veg and protein for snacks, and avoid much wheat products and dairy. I'm not giving up dairy completely because I like my salad dressing ;-)

I'm hoping that i can drop some weight before my husband and i start trying to conceive. Honestly, the program is fairly easy once you figure out what is and isn't allowed. I'm not hungry and am eating very well!

I think that's a smart idea! This is my second pregnancy and I've been fat both times, and it's hard! Being in shape before pregnancy would make it much easier!

How is Whole 30 going? I just read through their rules...you are approaching your 30 day mark, no? Interested to hear your experience!
