4 Months into 30 with SEVERE Weight Gain & Hunger

  • I am coming back to this forum for support and understanding about my 30s.
Is this normal to gain so much weight when you're 30?
I've been noticing this for a few months now, but the most recent gains have happened in these past 2 months.
I first noticed a swelling in my legs and asked my doctor about it and he said it was just weight gain. I didn't really believe him, thought it was adema or something but then I sat in my favorite rocking chair and it completely broke!
  • I will be 30 in a couple months. I know your ability to eat as much decreases as you age, but you shouldn't be experiencing a total body melt down.

Has anything changed in your life that would maybe impact your stress?

Did your doctor do any other tests (Thyroid) etc. ?

Any triggers? Are you possibly pregnant?

I don't know. But it sure looked like it the other day when I was looking in the mirror.
  • So one of two things, or both...get tested for pregnancy. And or you are bloating. Any other changes in foods you eat or medical symptoms?
  • I would have to agree with JudgeDread, however it is harder now than it was in my early 20's to lose weight, but it is possible.
