I turned 30 in July but I was pregnant, so obviously not trying to lose weight. Unfortunately, it was a second miscarriage for me. I'm through most of the physical part now (still healing from surgery) and ready to get back on the weight loss wagon...in my 30's.
30's not so bad although I did cry for a week when I turned 30. I'm closer to 40 now but can say that I know that I am a much stronger person (mentally) then I was when I was younger.
Good luck with your recovery - physical and emotional - you are allowed to grieve (daily if need be) but never give up on yourself.
Welcome to your 30's!
