  • Last year we were doing a challenge thread every 6 weeks or so and it seemed pretty popular, so I thought I'd start one up again and see how it goes . So please join me and we can get this weight off together....

    Memorial Day is only 9 1/2 weeks away ( I can't believe it's so close). So each of us needs to pick a challenge to meet by 5/26/03.

    My challenge is to loose 10 lbs by 5/14 since we're leaving on vacation on 5/18. I also want to average at least 3 walks per week for the next 8 weeks, which might be hard considering MI spring weather.

    START = 243.8


    GOAL = 233.8

    Let's get going onto a thinner/fitter group .

    Thanks Tech! What a good idea. I'm in. It's always good for me to have something to be accountable to.

    My goal is to lose 10 lbs.

    I weigh in tomorrow, so then I'll put my starting weight.

  • OK, this is what I need to get going. I've been talking about getting back to losing weight for weeks now, and I haven't done much about it! I am soo in!!

    I'll WI tomorrow AM on my home scale and post then.
  • I'm in!!! I definately need something to be working towards in order to make progress. My goal is to lose 6 pounds. That doesn't seem like much but dangit just losing 3 pounds and keeping it off would be a total miracle for me these days!!!

    Goal 1 - Drop 6 lbs
    Goal 2 - Exercise 5 days a week
    Goal 3 - Plan my WW Points

    3/17 - 159
    3/24 - 159 (I was 158 on 3/21)
    3/31 - 158 (it finally stayed low)
    4/7 - 158 (still)
    4/14 - 158 (I'm happy since I've been eating a lot)

    haven't posted in a while. been busy with work and whatnot. but i think i'd like to join this challenge just to have something to look forward to. my goal is to lose 5lb by 5/26.

    START: 179.5
    GOAL: 174.5

  • I'd love to have a challenge to shake things up! It's just what I need to get and stay on track.

    Memorial Day Goal: 235
  • I went to the mall today with my sister.... those cinnabons smelled soooo good! But, I just passed them by and had a vegie burger and even SHARED an order of french fries w/my sis. Had a super day...

    Wonder what my weight will be on Saturday ~ I'm starting back on W.Watchers at a Saturday am meeting after being gone for about 1 yr.

  • hello all. Starting weight 197. Goal 187.

    This morning I spent some time visualizing - me at my goal weight. I have been spinning my wheels for too long and it's time for some real progress. Going to look into hiring a personal trainer when I get back next week also.

    Great to see so many others up for a challenge .

    Well I'm pretty proud of myself I walked Wed and bought the first "Walk Away the Pounds" tape and did that today. So I'm on my way to meeting my 3 days of exercise/week goal. (This is a biggy for me I am a huge couch potato) Let's hope the weight follows suit

  • Where is everyone????? I feel like I'm talking to myself. Oh well nothing new....

    Tomorrow is my WI so we'll see how I've done. I've been over on pts, but did extra activity (to light to really be exercise).

    Hope everyone else is sticking to their goals and we will all be a little less on Memorial Day!!!

    Sorry I didn't post after my weigh-in this weekend - I had company. Anyway, I was trying to guess my weight, and was...wrong! I'm heavier than I thought (of coarse!). Blah. I'm still determined to lose the 10lbs for my Memorial Day goal.

    Off to a good start this weekend. I'm doing really well with the exercise and points. Wish me luck!

  • I just had to sneak in and say I cheated and stepped on the scale this AM, a day early (I decided to WI on Wed). and I'm down 4 lbs.!! WooHoo!!

    It's amazing what happens when you cut out dairy!!
