Apps?

  • Hello!

    I'm looking for new apps to help me stay on track. I've been using Lose It! since September and it has really helped. I'm looking for advice, suggestions and reviews.

    I just downloaded the sleep cycle app to hopefully help me wake up earlier and less tired so I am more motivated to get up, moving and go to the gym.

    I downloaded the relaxation melodies app with binaural beats to help me stay focused at work so I won't work through lunch and can go to the gym.

    I'm considering some sort of weight loss hypnosis app, but as of yet have not made the plunge.

    The apps don't have to be strictly focused on weight loss, maybe more along the lines of productivity, motivation, or something that will help me take care of everything else so I can focus on my health goals.

  • The only one I use is the Livestrong app for tracking my calories. But I'd love to know more if anyone else knows one.
  • I started using live strong on and off a year ago (been consistant lately & hope it stays lol) and I live it! I really love being able to go to the site & putting in my recipes and it figuring the nutritional facts for me a cpl of yrs ago I was hypnotized & a few things stuck & would love to hear feed back a out those aps if you've tried them. I'm interested in doing it again
  • I love myfitnesspal app - you can link in with friends, and you can also scan barcoded food to add to your calorie count.
  • I use Livestrong - My Daily Plate. It helps keep me accountable.
  • My Net Diary is my favorite on the iPhone but it doesn't have a social aspect and the online version is a mess so I ended up picking MyFitnessPal.
  • I love myfitnesspal. All the girls at our doctor's office are using it too.
