I've just started doing the Zumba DVD's and absolutely love it.

I actually laugh at myself - I will leave it to my imagination as to what I actually look like as I have the worst coordination ever!! I might pluck up the courage to go do it in public at a class.

This is really the beginning of my journey so me starting Zumba is really the same time as I'm trying to getting my eating habits sorted so fingers crossed Zumba is gonna help me fit in those jeans :-)

I've been doing Zumba for 2 weeks now. Like others, I was scared to go because of my weight and because of my lack of coordination. I'm 3 classes in now and I have fun even though I feel totally foolish. I am hoping that it'll help me shed some pounds.

My left knee has been hurting since Saturday though. I hope it's not from Zumba because this is the only form of exercise I can see me sticking to. Anyone else experiencing that?

My knees hurt if I wear regular shoes. My sneakers are good at keeping me from sliding which is good for some things, but not Zumba. I bought a pair of dance sneakers. I've gotten sneakers at Payless that might have worked too, but I wore them outside and won't use them at the gym.

My sister tried Zumba at our Y and she loved it. However the instructor had scheduling issues, and canceled the classes. My sister did buy the set, but its sitting in a closet-lol.
