I have a great number of Eminem and Jason Aldean on my ipod right now. Anything that can be blasted at full volume.

I listen to different things depending on what I am doing. For strength training it's the 80's rock all the way. But for the cardio it is varied and totally uptempo:
DJ Schmolli - Hey Dear Ladies
DJ Schmolli - Kung Fu Jumping
Pink - U & Ur Hand
Ke$ha - Your Love is my Drug, Blah Blah Blah, Tik Tok
Lady Gaga - Love Game
Kristinia DeBarge - Goodbye
and of course Gwen Stefani is always good too

Hope that helps!

It seems I'm the odd woman out here but ill give opinion. Here's some "upbeat" music...
The Postal Service , The Black Keys, Vampire Weekend, Moldy Peaches, Queen, Incubus

If you use iTunes, you can search their workout albums. I get some great ones from there.

I'm pretty close to Beatnikmama in taste, although I add in the Killers, Thievery Corporation, The Doors and some playlists I made from favorite techno songs. We just moved to AZ so The Orb's "Little Fluffy Clouds" is a favorite.

Oh, and if I need a kick in the pants, I put on Respect by Aretha. Sock it to me, sock it to me, sock it to me!

For me anything "angry" if that makes any sense...KMFDM, Eminem's new album Recovery, Metallica but I also love Katy Perry and Rhianna and Britney as well...gotta have a good baseline for me to keep the pace

I'm really enjoying walking to Florence and The Machine, too. There's only one or two tracks on the album that are a little too slow to grove to at a respectable pace. It makes the 2.5 miles go quickly.
