Oh, I just found this thread! I'd love to join in, I'm also a 30-something onederland hopeful...scale read 202.5 this morning! I need a little motivation to keep going, it has taken me a month to lose the last 2 lbs.

Welcome Shaylyn and Gardnermom! You both are so close to onederland, and we are glad to have you!
myturn, it sounds like God has truly equipped you with the ability to handle what you go through for. Thanks for his blessings.
Today, I woke up with a migraine. KILLER. I didn't go to bed until almost 4 am--couldn't sleep. Finally fell asleep, got woke up at 7 am---couldn't sleep. went and weeded my flowerbeds. It felt like it was already 90. It's supposed to be 108 today. blah. I weeded until I felt i would fall over. Then came in...and took a cool shower...shortly after that is when my head started to hurt. I ignored it, and laid down, and woke up with it throbbing worse. Thankfully I followed the baby's moods to figure out what he needed before he really started screaming..then he fell asleep after I put the radio on, and laid him in his swing. my head felt a little better, but now it hurts BAD again.
on a good note. I had 195.6 before I broke my fast. I GOT TO MOVE MY TICKER AGAIN!

Jen - I am so sorry you had such a crappy night with your head giving you troubles. Hoping that eases up for you. Yay for being able to move your ticker though!!!!
We had open house for my youngest daughter at school right after work yesterday. I was a bit shocked with how unorganized it all was. Today is my oldest girl's surgery (so DH will pick me up at work a few hours early so I can be there).. pretty busy week Hope everyone else is good?

Good morning ladies! Catching up here...yesterday was a busy day again.
Shalyn - welcome!! Looking forward to cheering on your progress! Good luck!
Gardenermom - welcome to you too! We love adding new friends! You're only 2.5 lbs away...so close!!
MissSea- ahh, yes...the girl scout song. Darn you...the song is stuck in my head now, LOL! I still have my sit-upon...and my mess kit.
MyTurn - your DH sounds like a wonderful man, husband and father. Having a solid team is the key to success. My DH works nights, so he's been the primary caregiver of our two girls. Like you and your DH, we're a united front and tackle our challenges as a team, working together. I'm grateful for him every single day.
Jen - yay for your ticker movement!! I like "From Onederland and Beyond" too! I'm happy with anything you decide! I hope your head feels better today.
Update on me...I managed to get out of work with enough time to change clothes & shoes yesterday, so I walked for two hours nonstop with a fellow soccer mom. This is the first year both girls are playing competitive soccer and in camp at the same time, so I'm enjoying the novelty of being childfree for a couple hours while I walk and chat with friends. I feel a little guilty admitting that, but my life is crazy busy and I have a stressful career, so I have to find my little luxuries where I can, LOL!

dogdays - You nailed it! None of us are perfect, but he sure does more than "earn his keep", I am glad you also have that team dynamic, as I have seen how much can happen when you do have it. I am so glad you get a chance for grown-up time away from work! What a treat! It sure seems to be a novelty sometimes, LOL and then to have someone who is also willing to do the walking with you too...that's a total win-win!!!!

dogdays, no worries about feeling the bliss of a child free moment. Like I said I was tee-totally spoiled with having a 12 year old. Then of course my precious nugget of a son came along.
myturn, I am sending prayers your way for DD's surgery!
afm: I totally indulged with a coconut cream pie milkshake and a hamburger last night. I wish it didn't have all the stress surrounding it. They closed at midnight-so I left at 45 after. I got there, and ordered the shakes, and some extra for SO and the boys. Got my order, went to leave, car wouldn't start. blah. Thankfully there were some teenagers hanging around really late, and they had jumper cables. They tried to jump me, at first, no go. Then they got it. Thank God. I got home and walked in the door, and BAAAMMM the food hit the darned floor. I scooped up what I could. The boys were still grateful for what was left of their sundaes. SO loved his shake, and I had almost finished mine by the time I got home...so it wasn't too bad. It cleaned up out of the carpet easily. i REALLY enjoyed it despite all that...
I got up today feeling HOT. I remember I kept throwing the blankets off last night. SO comes in and tells me, the airconditioner is broke. So i look at the coil. indeedy. It is frozen. I get up and clean because the boys destroyed my living room and were blissfully sleeping in...I got dressed, and realized I forgot to weigh...so I weighed fully clothed...197.6. I started chugging water, so I might be heavier later when I really weigh.
ok ladies, look for the new thread today. Catch up on this one, then come on over.
