New to the forum

Hi everyone. I am a 31 yr old mom to 2 beautiful girls. I have lost weight in the past but always on some quick fix diet which has eventually failed.. and I ended up gaining all the weight I lost plus 10 pounds. I am at a point where I am uncomfortable in my own skin and don't even want to take pictures anymore because I don't like what I see. I am engaged and my fiancee loves me no matter what. He always tries to make me feel pretty but is not a great support system when I try to lose weight. So I have set my goals for 2011 and this will be the year that I finally do this and do it the right way. I have 4 dogs, 2 pitbulls & 2 chimixes so they keep me active but I plan on stepping it up with them on the exercise.

Good luck and welcome! We have all had ups and downs but this is great place to gain support. I am back on the wagon again after not eating healthy and not working out for a month so I am right there with you. Here's to a new you in 2011!

Thanks for the welcome. I am just trying to take it one day at a time and be more realistic about my goals. Now if only I could find a walking buddy in my area

I'm right there with you ma! Doesn't it suck! Oh well, I am just going to approach it with the attitude that I don't have to do it all at once.... the weight deffinetly didn't happen overnight.
