Default Triathlon

Hey !

I had commented in the 100´s group and in the Biggest looser thread that I had completed my first triathlon this past weekend. And since I love seeing everyone´s picture and progress, I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to share a couple pictures from the race...

A couple people asked me about how I trained for it. There are a lot of very helpful websites, if someone is interested, I´d be happy to talk about it, just PM me ! But basically I designed my training around my work schedule, and I would do at least 1 hour a day, usually divided in 2 activities (swim, spinning or running), then on saturdays I would take long bike rides (about 2- 3 hours) and rest on sundays.

It was a really amazing experience, and I´d definitely recommend it, if I can do it, almost anyone can do it!!! Now I´m beginning to train for a half-marathon that will take place in the end of March, I´m looking forward to it, and hopefully I´ll have reached my goal weight by then !!

Fantastic!

Congrats on the accomplishment! Have you done much for distance running? I love to run - I did a Half Marathon, it was a terrific experience! We have one in our city in May. I decided that I would do P90X the last 3 months of this year and when I was done I would decide (based on my weight) if I was going to do the half again...or try to tackle the Whole Marathon!

Keep on training!
