Default I walked for the first time today

I feel so proud of myself right now. I went out walking for the first time today in five months.
It was 4 tenths of a mile but i still did it. I said yesterday that i was going to start excersising again and i did it. Yeah!
Now i just have to watch what i eat. This is not going to be easy but i know it's worth it.

I'm in the wrong group here, but congratulations! Be proud of your achievement - a lot of us here will find an excuse to not get out and exercise today... but not you!

Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement. They are much needed and much appreciatiated. I do feel proud. In fact I feel like going for another walk now. I will be back later, hotter and sweatier.
Again thanks. It feels great moving again. And thankfully I am not back up to 247 again.

You have taken the most important step: the first one. I always sing Dorie's song from Finding Nemo to myself in cases like this. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
